They start with a bunch of parts - then they get these manuals and put them all together...

"Not Enough" is the typical Ferrari plan.
3,000 cars would be merely a guess if the build lasts two years.

If the facelift really gets the 720hp engine from the Pista and all the new styling, there will be more than enough Pistas on the market soon.

Anyone who says they cancelled their orders I call major bulshit - why would you cancel a car you could flip for 100-120k profit...

On a serious note, every market is different and not all markets command such a leap in price. Also, it helps if u hv an early allocation my was at the tail end. However, my comment was tongue n cheek, they were not the reasons I cancelled it.

Serious question .Do you lose your deposit if canceled ? or can you just move it onto another model?

Really depends on how your contract is drawn up, in my case, I simply moved it onto a different car. At end of day, depends on your relationship with the dealership if they value your business and see you as a genuine customer not trying to buy to flip they will work with you to some extend....again all these also may vary from countries to countries.

This is what I have been saying all along and furthermore, it's not a track focused car so you aren't forced to have racing seats which I don't like anyway.

Well, that was last week. This week we have the F8 which is a cut-price Pista sharing almost the same engine, design etc. Yes, the Pista will come with more carbon options but at much higher price tag.

F8 is series production but the Pista is not limited either. If there was a Pista premium last week, I can only think it is going down or gone by now.

I am seriously thinkig of cancelling my Pista order. By the time it gets delivered in 18 months, the new Ferrari product strategy means it will be old news.
