    Gentlemen,

    2007 F430

Just added a iPod adaptor to operate audio streaming through my factory radio.....my phone is a iPhone 6s not eligible for any sw updates....sometimes it connects straight away everything works perfectly with the ability to operate the streaming with the 6112.....when it does not cooperate it shows no media connection....sometimes when reinstating *iPod* through external option within radio it may come to life....
Hope this question is not tucked away in another thread...
    Thank You...

I dont have the same radio as you but I did have trouble with the first cable I bought. They are cheap. I would try to look for a different vendor and go that route first.

I have a similar issue with my 6112 with v4.0 sw - the Bluetooth phone functions will work fine, but an iPhone (5s) will not be recognized (“no media connected”) no matter what I try. So I can use the phone for calling, but cannot play music. Not that it matters much, I will almost never use either feature.....

I have been told to try the older iPhone/iPad connector type.

Same with mine are you using an original Becker iPod connector? I couldn't get an aftermarket one to work, but then I found an original Becker iPod connector on eBay and that does work albeit sometimes takes a while to connect. There is a suggestion that maybe you need to have the iPod connected before you switch on the head unit. Be patient it will eventually connect.

    Hey Guys,
Thanks for the feedback so far..I purchased the Ipod adaptor straight from apple they call it "30 pin to lightning cable".....not over expensive at $42.00 but definitely not the cheapest out there...Gaxor I will try your recommendation and see what happens,I will report my observation...weekend is coming for those of us with good weather lets get these horses out there...!
    Thank You..!

    Guys,

Here is my update ad observation:
1-The Ipod adaptor 30 pin to lightning cable proved to be unreliable regardless of start up procedure...
2-I installed a bovee 1000 ...{$89.00 through amazon} a Bluetooth adaptor that plugs directly to your 30 pin Ipod cable within your vehicle.
This has 100% consistency and will stream your music or communicate navigation through your speakers....
It must be set to AUX as a external setting through the 6112.
3-If you have paired your phone through your becker factory radio it will also connect and work perfectly...
You will see two Bluetooth connections: Ferrari 6112 for the phone and Bovee for music streaming.
    Enjoy..!

I have the Bovee WMA1000 tune2air(MI-30P), couldn't get it to work properly in my F430. Doesn't recognize under media, like when you plug iPod in. I went and bought Aluratek 30-pin Bluethooth Audio receiver, AIS03F, based on F-chat recommendation. Can't get that to work either. I've had no luck with either one, so not sure what to do. Sucks using old iPod, because it doesn't charge, which is really annoying. Any options or suggestions out there, I'm all ears. I have a feeling I'm stuck at this point.

    Hello Anthony,

When the Bovee 1000 is correctly paired to the 6112 you should see it state "connected" when observing through your settings/bluetooth option within your personal phone right after ign key is cycled to position 2
If above is a YES then when going into settings external media you should select "AUX" within the 6112..mine works flawlessly everytime.
PM if you still have trouble...be happy to help out.

    Hello,
I appreciate the response. I will see if I can figure out how to set this up per your instructions. Also, since they updated the website, have no clue how to send a PM. I will let you know what happens and thanks again for the advice on set up.

That adapter will not work. I tried and it never worked with an IPhone 5S or IPhone 6. You need to replace the entire cable with an appropriate one with either a lightning connector or USB. You can get them here:
    USB: http://www.discountcarstereo.com/usb-bkr.html
Lightning: (what I am using currently with an IPhone 8) http://www.discountcarstereo.com/iL-BKR.html
I believe these cables are a better solution as they offer simultaneous charging as well. Bluetooth does not, and you will need to then use a cigarette adapter

    Hello,
I finally got an opportunity to try to get my "Bovee 1000" working. I was able to pair the Bovee with 6112 and it said connected in my phone. I was also able to get connected "MI-30P" under my Bluetooth settings. So both stated connected. Also, when I try to stream or play music from my Bluetooth, it's connecting, but I'm not getting any sound through my speakers. It's connecting to something, because I also do not get any sound from my iPhone once I play music. So it's playing somewhere. See attached pictures, when I go to "Media Menu" and hit "Ok button", the only options that come up are "Sound", "Detailed track", and "Connect iPod". I do not see an "AUX" selection? Let me know if I'm missing a step or did something wrong? Also, can you PM. I have no clue how to send a PM on this chat. For some reason I can't figure that out either. Let me know and appreciate the help.

1-press system function button. Start with bottom picture

2-rotate ok knob to the left to get “settings” with wrench displayed press “ok”

3-rotate ok knob to the right scroll to “external device” press ok

4-rotate ok knob to the right and highlight “aux” press ok

5-when pressing media button you should see “aux” highlighted

If all went well you should be able to stream audio..
Sometimes media will show iPod after key recycle simply set back to aux if no audio is heard.
Good Luck let me know how you make out,
    Kaspar..

I had the same issue with mine. I had a 30pin to lightning adapter, and it would connect up to my iPhone successfully about half the time. I ended up ditching the original, and buying the old style headphone jack adapter from becker. I used that method for 9 years in my old 360, and it always worked. I have used it about a year now in the scud, and it works great. The only downside is it doesnt' charge the phone, and you have to buy a headphone jack to lightning adapter for iPhone x.

Check my post # 10 up above. Both options work on the Becker 6112 in the 430 Scuderia, and give you streaming and charging.
