I have changed the position indicator lights to yellow LED, and painted my air intake. Thinking about painting the Ferrari logo flat black? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks great, I think the logo black is a YES. I want to paint the logo black and the "ferrari" and the lines on the intake. Think it would really pop and not look overdone. Just dont know how to paint it or what paint to use. Please post pics if you do it..
Thanks Zack. I wish I had a spare intake to practice on - LOL I might do it, after I find something comparable to try it on. I plan on using a paint roller with a really, really short nap. Very little paint on the roller, and lots of passes until the paint is thick enough. Wish me luck.
Winter project only lasted a day but the black does make a difference. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dang, you dont mess around. That was quick. Looks awesome, love it. Come to Az and do mine lol. What paint did you use? High temp im assuming. What roller, and how did you do the horse legs. Steady hand.... Great job.
Thanks for all the recent pics.... never made it above freezing where I live..... during the entire month of February.

Thanks for the kind words. The paint is that high-dollar flat black Rust-Oleum. LOL Flat black is very forgiving, and easy to blend without running and streaking. I've used it on many engine bays with excellent results. The trick is to drive a few short distances, park, open hood and let cure slowly. Used a little 1" smooth roller used for smooth trim and cabinets from Home Depot. The horse was done with a small brush then one quick roll while wet.
From the Saturday meeting of the FCA at Ferrari of San Antonio. Misty weather, so the turnout was relatively light. Didn't care, because the Parts Department manager found me the unobtanium bag for my sunroof panel. At $800.00 it seemed like a bargain. Less than the car cover was! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's a triple whammy. Old pic of my first yellow 6-speed 360, then the current Scud (that the yellow 360 went towards to trade in), and lastly the new black 6-speed 360 that is on route to me in about a week to join the Scud.
How about your Throttle bodies, they look great! Did you polish them, or have a shop do it? Mine have dark grey spots from oxidation and would like to freshen them up to look like new or better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Been a fan of your cars for a long time... can't image the 360 will stay stock for long. Any mods planned for it?
Thank you. Yes plans are in the works. There's a vision but will take some time to get there. I'll probably start a thread about it and see if there's any interest to follow the journey.
