6th year? Arrested development? I saw at Montreal last year when he was running one of the Pink Panthers. He is Canada's next hope. After Stroll that is.
I didn't even check that....Galael another veteran of F2/GP2...though I don't rate him that high. Still, same equipment on the same day and he's a lot faster...
https://www.motorsport.com/fia-f2/news/de-vries-quickest-again-jerez/4344854/ Day 2. Schumacher Getting very close to De Vries, and still nearly a second ahead of his teammate.
Oh yeah. There is something there with this kid if he's already just a tenth or two off veteran F2 drivers, on his first and second day in the car. Respect
F4 I was a bit skeptical about him, didn't seem to really get results...Obviously that comes of the back from an interrupted junior career with his dad's accident and recovery. It really seems he's getting it all together. Sauber has expressed interest in testing him soon. Even if he won't make F1, he is definitely quick enough to make a strong career in racing.
I personally would love to see De Vries winning this 2019 F2 championship. He was the "Dutch" star even before Verstappen but had some obscure years in single seaters. Another guy that would deserve wining the tittle this year is Sette Camara.
No no no..... Mick for the title.... then to F1, a year with Sauber to dial into the cars, then to the Scuderia to partner Leclerc and then on to try to bring another Schumacher title to the team
I'm luke-warm on De Vries...frankly he hasn't done anything special since moving on from karts. He should've been fighting for the title in F2 yesterday but really wasn't...against a rookie. 100%
Agree 100% great post. Just read an article where he is being considered as an option for some Alfa-Romeo/Sauber F1 tests
weren't some esteemed geniuses on here eager to tell us how he was just relying on his name? I think it's pretty clear that he belongs where he is at...
I'm very impressed with him so far. He gets better every single year. Fingers crossed for a great year for him.
This will year I will support De Vries and Camara. Two great talents that deserve this year's championship. Next year Mick Schumacher. From this list, 2/3 are made up of untalented drivers.
How do you guys generally gauge Mick's chances of once becoming the F1 great? I mean clearly a moment of true happiness for Tifosis around the world, but I'm talking reality here. I have only followed Mick in the news occassionaly so not really up to date with his recent development to be quite honest with you.
BREAKING NEWS Mick Schumacher will make his F1 debut. The 2018 F3 Champion will test with Alfa-Romeo AFTER the Bahrain GP in the young driver test on April 10th & 11th.
