My Gated GTB is coming. I sold my Gated GTS (on lift coming off for hauler) That is my personal GTS F1 in garage. And “My going to Sell” GTS F1 in Driveway, I took in trade. I have another GTB I am going to look at. Trying to corner the market, but quite a few of you have me beat, LOL

But I just bought a Nero Daytona Metallica - I think Ferrari only painted 1 F355 that color. It is stunning. But yes, Red is hard to beat [emoji16]

It was the morning shuffle for the hauler. I think the 3 trucks in the hood the past two weeks is more of an announcement, LOL. One is already headed to new owner, #3 is on way to consignment. Just one in garage til GTB shows up [emoji41]

Which F355 did you buy? The Dubai spec’d roll bar car from CA? I must be late to the party. I saw that car at the dealer and loved its unique spec.

Yep.... My research is 6 US Spec cars ordered through Dubai, which allowed for the rare roll bar option that came back to states by way of Ferrari of Denver. I know of one other car right now, another Fchat members GTS with the dark tan interior and dash color same as seats. Can not recall user ID. Do not know about other 4. Trying to reach a salesman, Derrick at FoD who may have more info. I was told he was working at FoD back in the day when they brought the cars back into USA. Car had a major a few years ago and about 400 miles added since that was completed. I plan on driving some and keeping it serviced up. I have been told it is spectacular. I have not seen it in person yet. I had eyes laid on it prior to buying. I love the story, the colors and the rarity.

Thank you so much Robb. Appreciate the kind words. I think you posted some pics in the dealership a few years ago? You always post pics when you travel and they can run together for me and my memory. Looking for another gated car to drive. I need your garage to display it in!


Michael Sheehan was the manager at Ferrari of Denver and went to Dubai to get 5 of these and 1 550. Derrick at FoD said I should contact him. I had brief conversation with him today and he is sending me everything he has. One of the other cars is the Yellow GTB with crazy all smurf blue interior. Hope to get some dialogue on the other cars as well. I think that Yellow car is on Fchat??

I would have never thought I would buy this, it just kind of happened. Hopefully I can keep away from the Repo Man, LOL.

Everyone welcome 05elise aka Dan. He bought my Gated GTS. Probably will get even better care under his watchful eye. His car brain is exceptional and he is one of the USA Lotus Gurus - if not the only one. Cannot imagine what he will do with a Ferrari.
