This California is screaming for bumpers and to be in original colours.

I like this video, Petrolicious want to make us believe in daily use but in the view of prices invested by investors more concerned about their fortune than these cars.
I read some projection in 5 years, but I think also we will not see these cars in streets excepted in a museum, a concours of elegance etc... All delivered by truck of course.

When they say "they don't make them like they used to" -- they are referring to cars like the 250 CA

But, the sound track to this video is just bloody awful.

I didn't put the sound, later I will do that.

I only express my sentiments for this video, Petrolicious and his gang do very well things.

Agree on bumpers but wasn’t original color nocciola?
Of all the colors to have your cal spider painted I probably wouldn’t choose that one even if it was the original color, don’t you think?

Personally, I just like cars to be how they were born. I quite like Nocciola and it suits the California's elegance. This particular car does not look good in red. It's not a Comp. California and should have its bumpers, so it doesn't look like it's trying to be something it's not. Actually, I think it will look fantastic as it was born as well. All just my opinion of course, and to each their own.

My friend owns the above car. It has been re-painted back to its original Nocciola colour and is just about to have its bumpers fitted. Stunning piece of Art.

Fabulous!!! I'm sure it looks absolutely gorgeous. Is it still in the same long time ownership?

It is currently being shopped around the planet by all sorts of brokers and wannabees, usually asking between 13.5 M Euro and 16 M Euro.

It looks fantastic. Surprisingly prefer the original colour to the red - bodes well with the cars classic/sophisticated look. And yes, same owner since 2006!

This is true, it's been punted at all different kind of crazy prices. Personally, I think it's worth around $11 to 11.5m usd, especially after its recent colour restoration.

I’m pretty familiar with this car. I acquired it in 1995 (i.e. it was bumperless back then) on behalf of the company for whom I was working, at a U.S. Government No Reserve Auction which took place on the premises of Wide World of Cars in New York. I was also the high bidder on both the Yellow 275 GTB Shortnose and 288 GTO in the same sale. Those certainly were the days!

Is 2277GT now back in its original Nocciola Metallizzato and complete with its bumpers? If so any pictures?
