Awesome! Let's see it next to the 400!
That's interesting. The window sticker indicates that the highway fuel economy is 19mpg. I have seen 25mpg maintaining a speed around 80mph for several hours (it was during a cross country trip). Anyway, that advertised fuel economy is pretty conservative.
They show 19mpg on the window sticker deliberately so you feel good when you achieve its true, 25mpg!
I never got it. Seller flaked on me massively. Didn’t even speak to me man to man on the phone. Sent one email saying he was going to keep it and poof, he never replied to me or answered his phone again. In hindsight, it may have been a good thing.
He may have gotten a higher offer and unethically backed out of the deal he had with you. Since he wasn’t man enough to talk to you, that seems likely.
I just missed out in a 1990 348 after communication broke down... Secured funds and everything only to find out the representing dealer sold the car and never bothered to tell me. In my eyes it just wasn't meant to be. Put an offer in on another 348 across the country and now its down to details. Argento over black. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love that colour. It may not have been meant to be, as you stated, however it doesn't excuse that dealer from bad business practice
I love that color also hope you get it! There is another 348 that was for sale at a used car dealer in mass for just under 50k did you look into that one?
Yes. It's no longer available I was able to contact the owner previous and he gave me a lot of info and documents of history. But that dealer as well was unable to answer emails and voicemails... shame. But I think I am getting the right car now. It is my first Ferrari and this process has been a rollercoaster of emotions
For sure silver 348s are amazing looking in my opinion. Really shows off the lines and makes the details of the car look great. Super rare color though.
Heh. I should tell you my story about this silver car that didn’t work out. (the one detailed in this post here.) I ended up getting a 348 about a year and a half later, but I’m thrilled with it, which is a story in and of itself that I’ve never take the time to write up here. It’s crazy.
Vinny - You were amazing! True definition of one enthusiast helping another. Argento does look amazing. Can't wait to post real pics when it arrives. (Not these compressed website photos and text message pics) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Bonus Just asked for a final list of all accessories, tool kits, etc so when the car arrives I have a checklist. Turns out it already has a Tubi Exhaust installed. (I never inquired and assumed it was completely stock)
