Ferrari makes 30k profit on every car they sell, by far the highest in the motorcar industry. Get your facts straight.

Every car has doors and 4 wheels so by definition they all look alike. But to me I don’t see how the F8 and corvette are similar.

Enzo is dead; his legacy is not. Also, what kind of English is "you're blind devotion" and what does it mean? Am I a kind of a blind devotion?

If we put it on this point then any car looks like any car. I see no resemblance between the Corvette and F8Tributo.

    How boring

Actually, English is my mother tongue. It seems that is not yours though...

I know I am in the minority for my McLaren opinions, but I just "don't get it". A buddy of mine has a P1, a 675LT and is on the list for a Senna. I have driven the two cars ....same reaction. No likeeeee.. ESPECIALLY the damn interiors. They are just so, pedestrian.

BTW Ferrari knows how to build the prettiest car in the world. Just take a look at the Monza SP1 and 2 for proof.

I am hoping that the car everyone is calling "Big Brother" takes its design cues from the past as the Monza did. I will pony up the 600K if they do.

Anyone here who knows what this is? It's obviously not the F8 Tributo, so any suggestions? Rebodied Ferrari by some design firm?

I thought the Senna was more ugly than a pimple when I first saw it in photos. Then I saw it in real life. Holy cow its gorgeous! The same was for me with the 720.

I dont know what it is with mclarens, but they dont photograph well. The press release photos always look horrible. Then you see it in real life and its much better looking.

In contrast, look at the press photos of the 488/F8. I think the photos look so much better than the cars in real life. The release photos of the 488 make the car look so aggressive in the stance and in real life I think the car doesn't quite have the same aggressive look.

    Facts straight about what??

How much Ferrari makes on each car is irrelevant to the actual nature of the car itself. If Ferrari were minting so much money, they could clearly have afforded to release a true 488 replacement last week now couldn't they?

It's not the money, it's the development time.

No question you have a very valid point realzeus. I kinda feel bad being a critic now :D and chances are when i see it in the flesh i may have to eat some humble pie - although that rear is going to take some getting used to. The dash would have less of an adjustment period but i think what will get the car over the line will be the way it drives and then the beauty will follow. They generally dont make the new one worse to drive.

Ridiculous to say cars are comparable just because they have a similar number of rear lights.
These cars have nothing at all in common. Nil.

I don't care for the name either.

'Tributo' sound like one of those drugs that's advertised on TV all the time.

    <Distinguished looking mid-50s salt-and-pepper-haired announcer with a slightly-baritone voice>:

"Do you suffer from low self-esteem ? Not getting enough ***** ? Not getting enough attention from gold-diggers and 14 year old boys ? Do you want to extend a metaphorical middle finger to all the self-righteous Prius drivers ? Got a small dick ?

Ask your doctor if Tributo is right for you."

    <Fast-speaking terms and conditions voice>:

"Tributo has been shown to cause certain side effects, including but not limited to- increased marital tensions, public parking anxiety, drastically increased quotes from contractors who happen to look in your garage, snide comments from SJWs, and questions from random patchoulie-oil smelling hippy chicks and man-bun-coiffed beta males asking you if you know how many people in ___________(fill in name of some 3rd world ****hole country) you could feed for the price of what that car costs. Consult your physician if you experience any of these side effects. Tributo is not to be taken with alcohol, Toureg, Taycan, or LaFerrari."

You have to give him credit that someone his age has a strong command of ancient Greek.
