37.1 or about $40K and has not hit reserve yet... also first time I've seen a Mondi with a trailer included with the car.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
The previous owner wanted to have it converted to manual gearbox, that was never completed, it was also accidented front left (pretty severely) and repair was abandoned. Yes, some valeo parts are available, but no CPU, only the shifter.
For the registry - ZFFFC33A7K0082451 As per the ad "Ferrari 348 transmission. Was in perfect running condition when parted out of an accidented semi auto Mondial Cab." https://www.ebay.com/itm/142721827122?ViewItem=&item=142721827122 The VIN decodes to a 1989 Mondial t Cab, either US or SA spec. Can anyone verify this? I don't find the VIN listed anywhere, including the Mondial Registry. Does anyone know the whereabouts of this 1992 Mondial t Valeo Cab, vin #ZFFRK33A8N0092409? Pervious owner had commissioned us to perform Classiche certification on this car. The car has since been sold and previous owner will not reply to phone calls or e-mails. Looking for current owner because we have the Classiche certification book that belongs to this car. Thank you for any help you can give! Image Unavailable, Please Login
This "1 of only 3 RHD" Valeo Mondial t Coupes was recently for sale in the UK. Does anyone have the VIN? I guess this is only on the US versions. (referring to claims). I have never seen that on a Valeo here or at the time when the were new, but still nice to have such piece of history!
However, this one, ZFFFK33A6L0087855, does not have the upper trans mount, which is indicative of a Valeo. ZFFFK33A6L0087855 trans on eBay A search of the VIN brings up this thread from 2011 on a hail-damaged t Cab. VIN decodes to a U.S. spec 1990 Mondial t Cab. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/90-mondial-cab-on-copart-hail-damage.348234/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think I found one of the first Valeo's, even though it wasn't in a Ferrari or called Valeo. This is a 1932 Buick and it has something called "Wizard Control." Once activated by a button on the floor it allows for clutchless shifting because it has some sort of automatic vacuum operated clutch. Trying to find out more but all I have learned so far is it was a one year only option because they were "temperamental." Beautiful machine form the golden age of American cars! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1932-buick-model-98/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's been a while since I've posted. I've been enjoying my Valeo every chance I get. There is a Valeo on Ebay for $119k. VIN:ZFFRK33A2P0095437 Anyone know anything about it. It started at $99k. Then $109k and now $119k. Also two other T's for about $80k. Are these finally getting the love they deserve?
Listed at Hemmings as well. From the photos it's certainly not an example that calls for such a high price. In my opinion. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/ferrari/mondial/2357455.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
Seems that this car is for sale again https://www.catawiki.com/l/39078057-ferrari-mondial-t-coupe-ex-valeo-1993
