Anybody calling it the F8 Tripuko yet? To my eyes it’s the best looking of the 488 genre. Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder.
From this view- I cant tell if its a 488 or a F8 - except for those hideous wheels- one thing hasn't changed - still rides high like a 4x4. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That image makes it look high but like a 4x4? LOL! The only difference I can see is the three vents on the front quarter, the raised air fin ala the Pitsa, the tapering of the wing along the rocker panel and more lift on the builtin spoiler. The wheels are not appealing to me but they aren't terrible.
Probably the worst image of it i’ve seen. Tells you precious little about what it actually looks like.
Agree, that's the only new car I'd buy. But I'm certain we are not getting that from Ferrari. Put simply, they don't want to sell that car. They want to sell more expensive cars. They are a luxury brand after-all. Ferrari believe they can have cars premium-priced to the competition and still sell all of them that they want to make. I say "want to make" because Ferrari well knows that keeping numbers as low as *possible* is important to their exclusivity/premium market position. Thus to meet robust profit growth goals, they must raise average selling prices more steeply than volumes. They have said as much on their earnings calls. Ferrari product volume is going up...but Ferrari's average selling prices are going up more steeply...
Both changes are a transfer of funds from Ferrari owners to Ferrari shareholders. Want to make money with Ferrari? Buy the stock.
I too always thought the Mp4 was the best looking Mclaren, that car still looks great and has not aged
