Better be more radical than the above. These 2 are nothing but cayenne w a different prancing horse on it. Needs to be lifted lusso w extra 2 doors. Not just a truck

I would go as far as to say that it doesn't even need the extra doors. Either elongated front doors that make ingress/egress to the rear seats easy or some sort of rising panels (a la Tesla Model X), or a huge gullwing door.

That's exactly what the original concept called for. Hope they keep that idea with the new design.

MDEL loves to rile people with these terrible pics. I especially like the fake sketch on Flavio’s desk.

Crinoid the picture you mentioned can only rile Flavio Manzoni but I'm sure he couldn't care less. Despite not being a great fan of Manzoni designs I think he did a pretty good job with the Portofino. The Purosangue will be one of his biggest tests and should Manzoni pass it with distinction I'll present to him my apologies.

I really feel for Flavio. He’s emensly talented and has a very difficult job. Ferrari design has not filled the shoes of Pininfarina.

FUV = whoring out the brand.

LDM made his opinion clear only a few months ago, in this interview:

Thank you for posting this video. I watched it from the beginning to the end and really enjoyed Luca Cordero di Montezemolo presentation. A great lecture on luxury brands given by the man who was for more than 20 years the chairman of the world's number one.

According to Jato Dynamics, an european specialist in car market studies, the arrival of the super SUVs is not only threatening the survival of the super cars, but they are also reorganizing the big SUV segmentation. This market it is now composed by the big mainstream SUVs like the big Toyotas, Nissans, Jeeps and Fords in the bottom of the segment. Then they are followed by the big premium SUVs like the BMW X5, Mercedes GLE and Volvo XC90. Another group includes the bigger premiums like the Mercedes GLS, Audi Q7, and the coming BMW X7. Then there are the premium/luxury/sporty SUVs like the Porsche Cayenne, Maserati Levante, BMW X6, Range Rover Sport and Mercedes GLE Coupé. And finally, the super SUVs which include the Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus, the coming Mercedes G-Class and the new Rolls-Royce Cullinan. The Ferrari Purosangue will be joining this super SUVs segment in 2022.
The graph below shows how the premium SUVs registrations have jumped in Europe contrasting with a stagnation on the registrations of supercars. I presume this difference is even bigger in the US.

    One may interpret that as:
    - there is a stable market / customer base for supercars
    - the luxury SUV don't take share from this market, AND the luxury SUV market heavily depends on the economy (looking at the dramatic drop in 2008).
Customers move to luxury SUV probably as replacement for less expensive sedan or SUV when they can afford it; also my guess is that most luxury SUV take the place of daily drivers whereas it's rarely the case for supercars (specially in Europe).
