Most assuredly one of (if not the biggest) the highest profile positions in sport. So many of his passes were just way off the mark last year. Hopefully the new coordinator will have some great results. Hopefully at the end of next season you can completely rip on me and show me how wrong I was!

I am disappointed though that Witten came back. His leadership will be great but I just feel as if he should have stayed retired. He obviously has nothing more to prove.

 

The only reason he hasn't even been to a championship game is because of the defenses in both games. CJ Anderson and the Rams running game destroyed us this year and the Divisional game loss against GB in 2015 was all on the defense. Dak put us up with a minute to go and the defense couldn't hold it down. Dak is the future of the Cowboys, whether the fans like it or not - the Front office has come out and said it multiple times.

As for stats, Dak is the most clutch quarterback since he entered the league. He leads the league with the most comeback wins for a QB since 2016 - yes LEADS.

 

Some of these players are really dumb imo. AB got moved, gets $30mm guaranteed, but could have had the additional $15mm if he had just shown up. What a moron.

 

Except he is missing a Super Bowl.

 

That is inexcusable to get nothing in return for these players. I’m wondering how that GM still has a job.

 

I thought AB got a better deal with the Raiders than he had with the Steelers.

Meanwhile Gruden is spending like a drunken sailor. A 4 year $66 mil contract to Trent Brown. Really?

Blame Dak when the Dallas D' choked away the GB playoff game. Who led us back when we were down 21-3 in the 2nd quarter? Who threw the TD to Dez and helped convert the 2 point conversion to tie it all up with 4 minutes to play in the 4th?

Who led Dallas to the NFC #1 seed in his rookie season?

But you know, only playoff wins-losses matter so Dak will never be our franchise QB

Kareem should have been resigned. Plus he had been here since he was drafted. And his rookie season was a complete disaster and was getting blasted daily about how awful he was. Then season two he flipped the script and began his yearly great play. Maybe not the best, but he rarely ever hurt the team. He's been solid.

I guess I watched a different team last season because he was really good, but some of the talking heads are saying it's a good move. We'll see.

 

Can you imagine AB and Bell both in the silver/black? Think owners/GM still have a hangup on paying running backs big contracts with guaranteed coin. RBs tend to deteriorate around 30 years-old and are subject to more wear and tear.
