    Ya know, considering my more exotic watches in my collection, the Rolexes are still the best,
    most robust, and timeless. They also have appreciated in value far more than my others which are much more rare. I love my other watches but it makes me wonder if I ever shpild have strayed.

    I’ve been looking for a subdued piece to use as an everyday watch. I looked for this exact example for almost 2 years. I finally found the right one and bought it last November. Rather than have it sent to me, wear it, and not be happy with its performance I sent it directly to the spa in LA.

    After waiting over 4 months, it arrived today.

    Jubilee bracelet, quickset movement, silver Tapestry dial, white date wheel, engine turned bezel, white gold. Circa 1982.
