I have the same problem as OP on my 13 sypder. Sadly I've just accepted this and disconnect/reconnect each time. Pain in the ass for sure.

Does this negate the need to disconnect/connect bovee Bluetooth each time you get in the car?

I purchased a 30 pin to lighting adapter and couldn't get my music to work. I bought the Bovee and it works but I have to turn on/off every time.

If someone purchased a 30 pin to lighting adapter that worked without using the Bovee, please attach link to the item.
    Thanks!

I'll take a photo of my setup. I got the extended cable from mu friend who bought it at alibaba or some website. I will talk to him and try to find out more details

So this is basically my setup.

    1. I have one long 30 pin to 30 pin cable: https://www.amazon.com/30-pin-Male-Female-Extender-iPhone/dp/B004BAC2B0
This one I connected to the 30 pin cable in the glow box which you otherwise connect with your ipod or bowee.

    2. Make sure to run the cable along the gaps around the glowbox so you can easily close the glowbox.

    3. I then bought a 30 pin to lightning cable like this one and connected it to the extended cable coming from the glow box: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Apple-Lightning-to-30-pin-Adapter-Cable-for-iPhone-XS-MAX-XR-X-8-Plus-7/173836194976?hash=item287971d4a0:g:ewgAAOSw-phceyYH

    4. I connect the lightning cable to my Iphone X and it charges and I am able to play music via Spotify. Most often the track name etc is shown on the right display, sometimes it does not show up. I can even forward to the next track on the button the steering wheel but can't go back with the back button the steering wheel though.

    As a note:
I did not know that apple stopped making the 30 pin to lightning cable so be fast and grab them on e-bay as the above one is the original deal (copies might not work with audio signal and will just charge your phone).

I have the same problem. I just swipe up (or down for newer iphones) and turn the Bluetooth off and on, and it reconnects.

I do the same. Would love a 100% automatic solution if it’s out there.

Same here. It's annoying to turn the Bluetooth off, and on each time.
    So far, I don't think there's a fix.

As mentioned in another Bovee thread, one of the F chat guys recommended to turn off the cars Bluetooth. The Bovee will then connect every time. I tired this and it worked for me. Presuming of course you get a functioning Bovee. Seems the car’s BT causes the Bovee to break the BT connection.
