I actually don't know him so we shall see. Some people were saying it's a good signing but nothing exceptional.

 

Beckham traded to the Browns.

 

OBJ and Landry possibly best 1-2 WR combo in league. Add Kareem Hunt and Mayfield is going to have his choice of weapons. Remarkable Browns didn't win a single game two seasons ago and now look like playoff contenders.

 

Oh ****. Baker and Beckham on the same team? That could be an interested pair.

 

Just back from a meeting. Helps Boys since it should weaken Giants. How does this impact Eli? Sterling Sharpe and their young TE whose name I'm blanking on are good, but loss of OBJ is a major hole to fill...T

 

Why is Eli still a starter?

Wow, Steelers could be headed for the AFC North cellar.

However, I'll wait to see how OBJ and Landry get along.

 

OBJ and Landry are best friends. Landry actually called Beckham before the trade and was trying to get him to come to Cleveland

 

I will be mildly surprised if AB does well in Las Vegas, Carr just isn't the same type of QB that Ben is,
I mean, Ben usually hit AB on a crossing pass while he was getting hammered in the pocket, and I don't
see Carr doing that.

Witten to NE? He was never their kind of TE - they had lots of them, Bennett, Allen, etc.
They are looking for the next Gronk - which means a fast guy that can block and catch - not lots of those at TE.

Cleveland SHOULD be fun to watch - like sandlot football. I hope!

Because he has a guaranteed contract, and there is nobody else 'better' - yet?

 

I am not sure what to expect of my Ravens next year..

Flacco, Weddle, Suggs, Smith and Mosley all gone. I am not even sure who is left on our defense at this point.

 

I think they sink or swim with Jackson. If he continues to progress, they are a great team to watch. If he's a flash in the pan, it'll be a painful time. Whether fun to watch translates into postseason success, can't say, because as you said, they've lost a lot of talent on D. In their favor, I see Pitt and Cinn as teams in decline. Cle still a year or so away, so maybe they have a little window of a few years to make hay...T

 

I am a little scared of the Browns this year. I think they are going to be really good.

 

I know OBJ and Landry were teammates and now they have their college coach, but if one or the other is getting too much attention, watch out. Baker may be susceptible to the sophomore slump and who knows when Hunt will be able to join the team. I have no idea what the Bengals are doing. I like the Ravens to win in the AFC North. But then as they say, games aren't won in March.

 

It'll depend on Mayfield. If he can break the curse of the Browns' QBs, they'll do good. Their divisional foes have been weakened. Regardless, they will be entertaining!

Adding Earl Thomas and Mark Ingram isn't going to cut it after liquidating those defensive starters.

Browns could be dangerous.

 

One of the local hosts made a good comment today about Cleveland. He said he's happy for Browns fans. All the **** they've gone through, they're going to have a fun season. At least it looks like it. And I have to agree. I am looking forward to paying close attention to Cleveland. And it doesn't involve LeBron thankfully.

 

Steelers 6-10 this year. Ben on bench by December. Tomlin goes after season. Book it. All Steeler fans will become fanatic, devoted followers of the other Keystone State franchise.

 

I find it amusing that Ben was talking about retiring a few years ago yet now he is working on a contract extension.

I stand by what I said that he is an attention whore and ran out of things to draw attention to himself so he played the “I’m considering retiring” card.

 

Yeah, I was wondering that myself, they will do crappy and THEN call it a 'rebuilding season - we meant to do this'.

Cinci, Balt and Pitt, really, have been in a decline.
Pitt got rid of some really good defensive players 1 and 2 years ago, smells like
what Balt is doing now...

I'm not scared - I am HAPPY for them!
Might have to see if they play and AFC East this season...

Yeah, I am sick of him, if the Lakers are on TV, then I'm not.

I dunno, Tomlin seems to do OK when they keep swapping players in and out,
and Pitt is a team that has had, what, 4 head coaches in their history?
I doubt Ben is on the bench at all, but we will see.
6-10 sounds about right, though.
