For Sale Ferrari 512 TR

Ferrari 512 TR from 1992, located in Dallas, TX. Red with black interior, manual transmission. I have owned this car since 2000, it’s been a great ride, a lot of fun. I haven’t used the car in recent years so it is time to allow someone else to enjoy it. Since it’s been sitting, I went ahead and had the 30K miles service done, even though it only has about 26,000 miles on it. That service is $10,000 and I have the receipt as well as other service history for the 19 years I have owned the car. The engine runs great! It’s on a rebuilt title - it’s been that way since I bought the car in 2000 when living in Connecticut. I have no details on what caused the rebuilt title and it’s always performed well for me. As you would expect on a car of this age that’s been used, there are a few chips in the paint and you can see wear on the leather interior. It does not come with luggage or tool set, however the Ferrari cover seen in the pictures is included. Accounting for the rebuilt title, I am selling this car at $105,000. It is a wonderful driving machine.

Nice machine, glad to know you have had it almost 20 years !! I have a question, Is a rebuilt title the same as a salvage titie, ? If not what does it mean ?

 

I have a strong level of interest in this car; do u think PPi could tell more of what happened to it?

It is my understanding that the two are not the same, but at some point there was damage to the car, someone rebuilt it, and ever since it's been on a rebuilt title. I do not know the nature or extend of the damage. It appears fully repaired to me.

 

I believe that it was, but it would have been before I bought it. It is the same red color all around. I know there are some shadows in my pictures, but if you were to look at the car the paint is the same everywhere.

 

I live locally. Where in the Dallas area is the car located?

 

Is this a gray market car? DOT lights should not be raised in the back like this and looks like European driving lights in the front.

This car did come from Europe sometime in the 1990's, I have had it since 2000.

I assume that the car was always red, I have no information on any other colors and there's no visible evidence of any other colors.

 

Why so many titles issued year after year? Do you have pics of the car before repaired? Where was the damage or was it water?
