Hi everyone, I even called parts and they don't have the information. I want to change to a different color temp and if no one knows the answer, I will have to pull out the existing bulb to find out. I would prefer to avoid that.

Thank you very much to whomever can answer this for me

    Are they not xenon?
If so I don't think you can change the colour temp of the bulb

Yes they are, but I prefer a different color bulb. OEM bulbs are 4300K and I prefer a 5000K because it's more white.

    Pictures won't portray this properly....I didn't do a before.

Stock bulb is 4300K, I usually go 5000K to 6000K on my bulbs. I went 6000K on the F12.

4300k IMO has a yellow hue to it. Yellow is a darker color than white. Through the spectrum, the higher you go from there it turns from yellowish, to white , to purplish.

However, if you go above 6000K, it turns more purple which is a darker hue. So 5000-6000K is the sweet spot. The bulbs come pretty close to the LEDs above the headlight bulb, if you went 5000K, it would be nearly identical. The driving vision at night is much improved IMO too.

You can acquire a D3S bulb very easily and install very easily too. Remove from wheels, remove frontside wheel shroud ( a few Allen head bolts) and the back of the headlight is there. Plug and play. Never touch a headlight bulb with your fingers because the acid in our fingertips could cause damage to the bulb.

    Happy motoring...
