this year they said we will have five new cars: F8, P80, BB V8 hybrid, 812 cabriolet, F8 Cabriolet. Starting from next year just hybrid new models ciao
P80 Is just one-off not including in 5 new models don’t forget new Portofino coupé Fer9000 you can confirm it ?
Curious why do you say so? The discussion from BB eye witnesses describe a "proper spacecraft". The one-off is a redux of many prior elements and certainly no one yet has described it as a spacecraft.
Personal opinion. SP36,J50 and this P80 all seem to have some common design elements to my eye. In a sense I think they are all getting us used to what future Ferraris will look like. Of course I'm probably wrong !
Thanks. I think the one-off has no spacecraft look to it at all and just a modified 488 GT3 comp car. You are probably correct in that this design team is no stranger to re-use but for the BB prior viewers to agree on a spacecraft motif I'd expect it to look distinctly different avec the obligatory flaps and gills of course.

I think the P80/C does hint at the design direction of BB. Think of it as the wild 'show car' design and BB as the street version with all the compromises for a street car. The front fender peaks are lower and the windshield is much taller offering greater visibility. This continues to the top of the side windows. They have a straight edge compressed by a lower tilting roof on the P80/C were the side glass on BB is curved with much more glass area and more headroom to. However at the back where vision is less of a concern the vertical window idea of P80/C is present and the sunken engine cover is also seen but to a lesser degree. The still generous rear fenders are slightly shorter in height. However they still have a similar molded in rear spoiler where the outer edge can be seen wrapping around the trailing edge of the rear fenders. Just like in the old days first you get the show car! (someone wondered why a one off Ferrari was getting so much attention) Then a street car carrying more weight appears later with all it's engineering and styling concessions to life away from the race track including more power than the prototipo race car... The massive front windshield of BB and the greater length in the second picture perhaps hints at a longer wheelbase than a previous 488 model. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
J50, Sergio and the Pininfarina Battista. Mix them all together and you could have at least a very general idea about the Big Brother.
not sure how I feel about that, feels to be in a similar but more futuristic vein along with the F8 but I am as uneducated as it gets on these cars. In any case hope it looks awesome and that it has that distinctive & unique Ferrari styling, not like the Battista or prior models but just me. I feel like some of the super cars are beginning to look more and more alike in futuristic design language
That's the definition of Battista for me: pretty but quite bland. Hopefully the BB will more J50 than anything else..
So the big brother gives this : - Presentation in May. - A futuristic bodywork. - Incredible tech. - 1000Hp V8 TT Hybrid. - About 800K€. That sounds great, i'm looking forward to it!
Yup, no way it will be anywhere near that price. They'd never sell, and the ones that did would suffer enormous depreciation since there would be practically no used market for them.
