I have a 1998 ferrari 355 F1, I brought it in for its major service, they told me its running rough and sent me a video. I asked that they put the SD3 to it. After listening to the video these were my guesses to what was causing this.

Having problems uploading video. I know that last I drove the car I did notice a slowdown like come on once. I used my OBDII to shut off engine light so the car isn't running on limp mode. Any advice on how to upload video

So you cleared the CEL (Check Engine Light) without getting a code? The code may have shown that a particular engine bank was faulty. Then you would at least have had the option of swapping components (e.g. thermocouple TCUs).

Is the car now running roughly without a CEL? Is it running roughly at idle or at all rpms?

If the shop can't diagnose it how are they qualified to do a major service? Unless I'm misunderstanding this thread.

It would be good if you filled out name and location.
Also which shop did you take it too

The way i understand is he brought it in for a major and they told him before they did anything its running rough.

If they have an sd3 they should be able to fix it as stated all ready

The problem is there are too many variables and you have not given enough info

Need to know why a cel was on
Need to know why a sdl was on, was it steady or flashing
Need too know if you. Had done any work since it was running good. At some point
Need too know what kind of exhaust (all components)
