What happens if you cycle the mode button through the four choices back to normal?

 

As stated in prev. post cycle through the modalities of charge and stop at the one you choose. If you have an AGM battery(Interstate) I like the snowflake mode. You can cycle plugged in by hitting the mode button till the desired modal lights. You do not need to reselect on ea new plug in unless you want to alter your modality. Once you select a modality it will remain for ea recharge until you chge it. Also make sure you follow the start sequence and the stop sequence. Start- everything set to go then the last thing you do is plug it in. Reverse is true when you discontinue the charging. The fact that you factory unit works well the female ppt is attached to the battery etc, correctly. On my unit didn't need to purchase a new Male connector as mine simply easily disconnected from the factory unit and worked just fine

 

Forgot to mention. When you have selected you modality you will have two lights on- The green & an orangish/red light that is telling your charger what to do. In essence telling it how to charge you battery.
