VIPs & Banned People on Ferrari's List

Kylie Jenner is VIP and David Lee is shunned,
Sickening.

 

One could argue that Kylie Jenner is far more influential - in terms of brand, image, etc - than David Lee.

 

Having David Lee on the Ferrari sh#t list is just wrong. He's a hard core tifosi.

 

My heart was pumping furiously as I read through the list. Thankfully I was not on the banned list.

So, Ferrari cares more about selling posters than the cars David Lee has and tirelessly promotes? Let’s not pretend that David Lee isn’t influential in the Asian community, which has a lot of buying power.
Next year Kylie could be driving any other car that matches her clothes or whatever her rapper boyfriend of the day likes. She’s not a car person nor is she particularly loyal to Ferrari.
The company has lost its way. Probably has some millenial pulling the strings on these decisions.

 

I know exactly 3 things about David Lee:

1. He has a lot of Ferraris
2. He got ticked off when Ferrari didn't put him on the VIP list, then he bought a car he wasn't supposed to be able to buy second-hand, and ticked Ferrari off even more.
3. I think he owns a jewelry store. Not positive on this

Until the second thing happened and made news on Jalopnik, I never heard of the guy at all.

Despite great effort, I can't go two weeks without seeing Kylie Jenner's face somewhere on a magazine, TV commercial, or newsfeed on the internet. I've never even looked at David's Instagram.

I'm sure David is a nice guy, and I have no interest in the least in Kylie Jenner. But her appeal to people under 25 - however mystifying - is unquestionable. David Lee isn't on the same planet in terms of social influence.

 

Agree 100%, David’s could be suffering because of the company he keeps ie Jay Leno !

 

David Lee is ordering an F8. Perhaps he just won’t get any LE cars.

I could title this article: "Why The Newer Ferrari Cars Don't Interest Me." The BEST Ferrari's ever built have been used cars for decades.

I'm not sure how accurate this whole article is. David Lee has all the special cars from 288 GTO to LaFerrari and I think he now has about 20 cars, including a F1 2000 car, F12 TDF, 70th anniversary F12 and so on.... They didn't approve him for a Laferrari Aperta, but that doesn't mean he is "banned". To ban a Ferrari collector (a serious one), that has spend so many millions on Ferraris just doesn't sound right to me.
