    Nope.....but typically stupid comment, as the engine management system made no difference. I've heard many 355ch cars, and many exhaust systems on standard 355s...it's just not as good. Like I said, I don't know why.

    It's no F40, and I don't believe you'd find an F40 for $550k anyway.

    Obviously all the non-Challenge 355s you’ve heard have had a standard exhaust.
    Or your hearing aid fell out. Or something.

    The engines are the same, so bolting on a Challenge exhaust (or similar) would have the same result.

    Not really. The difference between a standard 360 and a CS is way more than a 355 and a Challenge.

    I've never driven a challenge Steve but I've driven the CS...My 360 doesn't even come close to the driving experience and raw noise of the CS...It's an incredible car...

    That sounds right Gary. The CS is a far different car to the standard 360.

    A Challenge is a 355 with a few bolt on parts (done by the dealer most of the time) which no doubt make a big difference but nowhere near as much as the CS.

    I think the engines out Adrian....I am doing a parts run to London towards the end of next week...While it's out I'm getting Pierre to pull the top end off and I'll do valves and guides and whatever else needs doing....It's a keeper so I will sort it properly....
