Interesting. I don’t see anything that indicates that on the Carfax, but the mileage did have a couple years of fairly big increases. The seats look pretty good though, which would be surprising for a rental.
I think that is very normal... in fact this is the period of delivering of the new “ pista “ series speciale and many people are shifting from scud to this. Few months and I think they will appreciate in value again.
I think the price increase of the Scuderia is over, supply clearly exceeds demand, and that can't be turned back. Let's face it, not only Ferrari is pushing more and more models in the used market, think about Lamborghini with its successful Performante, McLaren with its Super Series and in the meanwhile also the Sport Series, Porsche with its countless sold GT3/GT3 RS models etc... The range of very attractive used super sport cars has never been so large. Relatively speaking the reason to buy a Scuderia gets smaller and smaller, the demand gets smaller and smaller. In the best case, the Scuderia prices will be able to maintain the current level. But that's more wishful thinking than a sober view. Hope I'm wrong.
I don’ t know .... the car has some unique caratheristics such us sound and IMHO style.... the future will not be very bright about the sounds .... so... we will see ...but I think one thing is sure .. who willl keep this car will always smile a lot when driving it!
I personally think having just bought a replacement for the Scuderia that I sold a few years ago that the pricing today is fairly stable I sold my car a couple of years ago for a little more than I paid for the identical (same color, same options, same year similar mileage )... I think there will be a group that will continue to like the cars as they really are unique ..the new cars will be better in every way but not the same visceral feeling of this car or the CS.. so hopefully the prices stay similar to today...
Famous youtuber Mr. JWW has just started a series of reviews called, "Modern Classics," which is starting to pick-up steam. Scud is reviewed in episode 2 and I believe the F40 in episode 3. In some of the videos, he concludes after driving these cars that "going forward, is actually going backwards." What I think he means is important driver connection is gradually lost as the cars become more technologically advanced. The Scud will be seen as a high-performance car with satisfactory speed done the old-fashion way. Lots of cars feel old and nostalgic, but they're not actually fast. For an NA car, the Scud is damn fast.
I did thesame thing. Sold when high, bought when low. But this is my second scud so i know exactly what i want. The car is just hard to replace.
