Our favorite burrito spot for an early lunch today. Talked with a couple nice guys with their GT350s in the parking lot. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Had a continuing education class about instagram at spring creek bbq. It was free and good portion but out of towners stay away. It's not good. I wish I could have taken a picture of the brisket on the cutting board. It didn't even look like brisket. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I know that place! Haven't tried it yet. Good to get a positive report. Hopefully, the Tex Mex place we have chosen for tonight is good. Or, I'm blaming my wife! T
We are in love with Chula Seafood. Lunch today were their bowls with raw fish and loads of interesting things in there: Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's quite tasty and I would recommend it. However I'm not a texan! You can tell he cares about his BBQ though. When I drove in he was manning the BBQ himself. Tom, I trust the place will be great! I'm just excited I get to meet the other Tom!
I've never liked Spring Creek. But sometimes I'm forced to eat there because I don't get to choose. It sucks. The guy looked at my stupidly when I asked about burnt ends and then he pointed to the "barkier" meat, and I said no, I'll just take lean meat. They sucked too.
Yeah, co-workers took me to Spring Creek after I moved to DFW. It was OK, but I did not know any better. Now having been to the places on the Texas Monthly lists, I now know better! T
The folks I work with are great, but they have no interest in sports, cars and food. So, I have to get foodie-Ferrari-football freak on here @ F-chat! Dang, I'm starving. I need to finish this damned paperwork, and get some Tex-Mex w/ Tamas! T
TEXAS!!!! Finally had the burger. It was quite tasty and enjoyable. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my SM-G960W using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Is it better than In and Out? I like Whataburger, but I've never thought it was as wonderful as people make it out to be.
Juicing daily again. About nine apples, three pomegranates, and six lemons done yesterday for today’s breakfast/lunch/dinner. Still have some in reserve from the day before though. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ron...Sounds like a tasty mix. Do you have to break down the pomegranate before juicing? I'd assume so, given that the pith is bitter...T
Sometimes Guy Fieri proves helpful...I had forgotten about a wonderful place in Scottsdale and was recently reminded by an episode of DDD, we went for lunch today: Its called Andreoli Italian Grocer. Honestly, the food here is as good, simple and authentic as pretty much any in Italy. A little pissed at myself for forgetting about this place. We will be going back asap. Today we had; - Rigatoni with Sausage and peas in a tomato sauce - Pressed/toasted sandwich on Focaccia bread with spicy calabrese salami, and smoked mozzarella cheese - Bufala Mozzerella Caprese. The bufala mozzerella was likely the finest I've ever had in terms of freshness, flavor and texture. The Pasta was literally "perfect" in flavor and chew. Sandwich was good, very, very spicy. It was like being (or at least eating) in Italy for an hour. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes I do, Tom. I soak them in a bowl of filtered water after scoring the skin open in several places. The soaking helps soften the pith for easier separating, the doing so while submerged helps keep the splatter from popping seeds to a minimum.

That's genius, under water. Gotta try that. Love pomegranates, but too cheap to buy the pre-packaged arils, too lazy to do it myself. T
