I'm debating between going there or to the Taste of Marietta (which is always fun!).

I'll do both, since the Taste goes on to late afternoon. I just hope the weather is good.

    same here.

Saturday should be Corso Coffee in buckhead, before that, there's a detailing shop having coffee at 8 in alpharetta, and "Lights and Lagers" at The Retrofit Source 5-9pm. lots of possibility...watching the weather.

I think that Caffeine & Exotics is a rain-or-shine event. The chance of rain is supposed to diminish as the morning progresses.

The chance of rain on Sunday seems to have virtually disappeared, so I think we're good to go.

Later in the day, some of us will be meeting at this place in Buckhead at 2:30 in the afternoon to watch the race. Care to join us?

A nice event, though it got a bit chilly when the clouds returned for a while. Surprisingly, there were more McLarens there than there were Ferraris! (Where were the rest of you guys?) MP4-12C, 570, 600, 720 - there were multiples of all of them. This Senna was probably the most striking of them all, particularly that gargantuan rear wing.

The Countach is still an attention grabber. The owner had to move it between my first and second photos, and that meant backing up. Since that rear window is only a suggestion (!), that may be the hardest job in motoring! Luckily he had help from people guiding him. It would almost be easier to back up a tractor-trailer!

Porsche had the stage, and I don't know what the big deal was. I think most people expected an electric Taycan; instead the place of honor belonged to a Carrera 4S with some interesting styling cues. The only Ferrari I shot was a regular 458, for no other reason that I like the styling better than its 488 and F8 descendants. If anyone ever offered me a newer model Ferrari, I think I'd choose a 458 Spider over its newer (and faster) developments. Besides, I like the sound of normal aspiration!

The speedster was the important car on the Porsche stage, IMO.

I'm very undecided on the 992.

Yes, the new Speedster was center stage, flanked by GT3 Cup and GT4 Clubsport race cars we brought from The Driving Club at Road Atlanta to support the Porsche feature.
