He endangered a lot of people’s lives by releasing the information that he did Let him rot in jail Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I’d hate to be the chicken on the ground or at sea in the MEAO after they released a stack of signals and documents that enemy combatants can use against you to kill you How much of the stuff that they released was of any interest to the news editor compared to the benefit gained by the enemy Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
No, they don't matter. It's a fact of life, sometimes to get an advantage **** has to happen. And anyway, does anyone really know the full story?
He was the champion of the Left Wing Pacifists till they found out that he also thought it was morally correct to undermine Hilary and leave Trump alone A very interesting set of values sitting inside his jail cell Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Hillary's email was stolen by a DNC IT guy, who sent it to Wikileaks. All Asange ever cared about was getting attention. For all the media obsession with hacking, 99% of data thefts are done by disgruntled employees. Wikileaks did not have the skills to hack anyone with basic security software in place, they were just a well promoted mailbox for the Bradley Mannings of the world. If only Julian had known about fchat, he could have got his rocks off trolling people on here, just like our resident narcissist
Exactly, I am disappointed in Australia as usual for the piss poor protection we provide for our citizens when they are overseas and in particular the AFP ..... pack of cants. If JA is guilty of raping someone then let him spend time for the crime but if he goes to jail/gaol in the US for publishing facts about atrocities then that is wrong, and I'm ex-military and know the consequences of exposing information such as IFF codes, etc If he's guilty of anything it's more of a filter issue , they got all this info from Manning and got excited that it would make their name and published the lot instead of wading through it all and thinking of the ramifications. What did Gough do about Baliboa ?? What did the AFP do about the Bali nine ?? I'm too tired to remember the other atrocities committed by Australia, but both sides of the political arena have been complicate in many mis-dealings with Australian citizens.
Right, so you better be careful where you are now. The government won’t come to your rescue when you abuse an policeman for pulling you over...
you know what, the cops are the least of my problems in Italy, we are so over-governed and have so many signs and traffic lights , it's a wonder we even bother to drive in Australia
this is harrowing and difficult to watch. Seattle is one of the most "progressive" cities in the US, second only to SF. If you haven't been to SF recently, you'd be shocked at the extent of footpath tent cities and the filth surrounding them. This is the reality of the progressive left approach to enforcing the law.
SanFran is terrible Ian...Most parks and all street corners have homeless high on ice etc...People deficating and the strong smell of urine and marijuana...It's become unsafe to walk the streets late at night as you always get heckled by desperate people....When I first started flying there 20 years ago it was the down and out war veterans...I would always give them a few dollars....Not any more...
They now have trucks spraying bleach onto the footpaths in SF, to contain the typhus and Hepatitis A epidemic. No appetite to address the root cause, which is politicians refusing to enforce the law.
Yes, enforce the laws and imprison repeat offenders. It's the only way. Guliani transformed NYC, of course it's now slowly deteriorating again because of the (proudly socialist) mayor De Blasio. https://www.nber.org/digest/jan03/w9061.html
Re Assange: there is definitely a double edged sword here - yes, lives were endangered but how many lives may also be saved by some of the knowledge that was gained? I don't know the answer, maybe some sort of official ivestigation (not trial) could investigate and that may lead to a trial. I thought the Swedish allegations had actually been retracted by the complainant? In any case, Aust certainly has an obligation to protect a citizen from any vexatious litigation from another country.
