I got invitation to attend this event and was told confirmed allocation. I have 2 important questions if anyone have any info it will be very helpful in my decision.

    1. Will it have carbon tub
    2. Will it be a numbered car like the Laferrari or just limited run

    TIA

    1. Maybe a reinforced aluminium chassis with carbon parts .
    2. Likely a limited run

When asked if this was a regular production car, Leiters said yes. It's a new slot in the mid engine segment to keep the V8 offering alive when the Tributo will be replaced by the V6. Sales will start in Q1 2020.

And that's also close to what ppg70 said a few months ago ("approx €600k").

Work in progress, trying to piece together the comments from ferr9000 (quoted below) and the elements seen on the test mules.

Regarding the mix of features alluded to by ferr9000, I expect the side of body to be similar to the Battista (line from door panel to quarter scoop opening) with some J50 along the bottom; the B-pillar and sail panels similar to the J50, though not sure it will have the prominent double roll bars or be single hoop, facilitating the design of the rumored targa top; and the front looks to be a floating, pointy design (Sergio-like) as also evidenced by the latest pics of a test car on the highway.

So was looking for comments, thoughts on whether you think it will have F8 type opening over the headlights or J50 type black panels on the hood leading to cabin ventilation openings (?)

Brilliant work. Speaking of the headlights, I'd prefer the cleaner look of the J50's rather than the vents seen on the F8 Tributo. About the hood, I think it might be similar the Pista, but I could be very well wrong about it.

Thanks Ferr, but if the info is too sensitive or proprietary to post here I think it's best to keep guessing based on publicly available information.

Interesting evolution of your earlier design thoughts.
I still think the 'wow' factor is missing and that comes often from the small details that contribute to the overall effect of the design. J50 is a gingerbread design with too much detail. More 'clean' like the Battista is a better direction of thought. Mr. Manzoni slowly seems to be coming into his own playing less to the past as he looks to outside influences beyond recent 'history' views. The P80/C played to that old and new mix well. Also the proportions are critical to the impact of a design... ;)

I really admire you for this approach.

Sometimes a bit of colour in the sketch also brings out the wow factor

Without carbon fibre tub and if the unique targa version is confirmed , this car will be heavy as hell .
For now i don't understand how Ferrari will justify this car as the sportiest in the mid engine range ?

The test mule appears to have 20” wheels. Any chance that the production version will offer something larger (21” seems to be the next trend).

I showed your first render/draw to 3 people related and involved with the F173 project. Despite of your draw talent, they gave you in average a 2.2 of a scale from 1 to 10 in terms of design similarities. Thats why I offered you some hints and very general lines ideas to gave all forum a better approach of what is comming.
