All Ferrari engines are redlined on the dynamometre, before they are mounted in the car. They have to produce at least the stated power and torque, otherwise they have to be rebuilt. Then they are tested vigorously on the road and/or the Fiorano test track. They are basically delivered ready to use. Other subsystems though, like brakes, may need a short ran in period (even though ceramics have a specific routine).
I’m picking up my 812 from the factory in May and will look to see what mileage is on the car. Will be interesting to note how they test the car on the road after it’s built. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wow, amazing reflectivity in the paint! Black stripes look dead though on that paint. Silver (with black or other color outline) or other metallic color would work better, I think.

You are very kind with such generous remark! I am refraining from passing a personal opinion on this one. Even the number plate is corny and a bad color match. I think the girls face in the burgundy top says it all. Plus everyone else has turned away pretending they didn't see it....some even turning away to blank it out. The few others who were caught looking have an expression of wtf really - how could you do that! Just NO!! The expression on the drivers face in the silver Peugot van behind him is also one of disgust. The two girls across the street glancing across also looked dismayed. Nobody is happy to see it and no thumbs up anywhere! A total fail!!
