What else would you call remarks like the ones back when Alonso went to Indy when he talked down the entire field over there?
I would call that arrogant and stupid and I guess I was not the only one...

I don’t see that as actual arrogance. I think he vastly underestimated (underestimates) just how competitive the IndyCar series is, and the skill set needed to be proficient on IndyCar ovals.

When you elevate yourself as a Formula 1 driver above IndyCar drivers in general I would call that arrogance. I don't recall similar comments from other drivers but maybe you could help out finding those...

Sure...why not. Different cars and conditions, etc. I think Hamilton is actually better than Senna was because he is inspired...where Senna was just obsessed. And it was obsession and the sound of Michael's footsteps that caused Senna to make his fatal error.

The steering column "failed" in Senna's car thereby sending him and his car straight into the wall. I believe Senna made some "modifications" to it.

Excellent post... yes it seems to me the profanity filter has been working overtime trying to contain the frustration, it's all rather amusing :)

I don't believe this. Lewis is good..really good..when the car is good. I have not seen Lewis did something extraordinary in an ordinary car. For example, think Michael Hungary 1998, Spain 95 & 96, or Malaysia 1999.

As Bas said..the Mercedes flatters everyone.

Not understanding this, Schumi never had a ordinary car, Ferrari was a top team at the time, Benetton was a top 4 car. Alonso and others already praised Ham for winning races in the 2009 Mclaren which was not good.

schumi never had an ordinary car? Checkout 1996-2000 season. Ferrari only dominated 2001 & 2002, scrapped by 2003, dominated 2004, and was pretty much nothing from 2005-2006. Therefore, Schumi only had a dominant car in 2001, 2002, 2004.
The FIA changed the rules to slow down Michael twice.

Mclaren and Lewis only won in 2009, because the Brawn didn't have money to continue to improvised the car. there was nothing spectacular as far I remember about Hamilton.

to be fair, no one really knows what happened. Some say the steering failed because of cheap/quick modifications, some say Senna just pushed too much on that day, and ran out of luck (some say the steering broke upon impact).

Sorry, you are not gonna convince me a car that has won races and finished 2nd in constructors is "ordinary". You see nothing spectacular to remember about Hamilton, cool, your world. I choose to agree with the many F1 drivers who say otherwise.

Remy, he’s already demonstrated a lack of realism when he posts, he knows full well Michael had his share of average equipment and made it dance, it just doesn’t fit with his love for Elton and blind hero worship! Don’t waste your valuable time mate, I hate myself every time I bother responding to him and his cheerleader mates. It never ends in common sense

Triggered? I think you overestimate how little I care about the opinion of Elton’s fanboys on here, and find enjoyment watching them squirm around trying to twist history to suit their little ballerina regardless of how stupid the arguments. Forza Ferrari, screw the rest!

Awww, never heard a swear word before? Boo hoo. Like most comedians these days, I find the addition of the odd profanity adds to the fun of a statement, makes it flow so well, and of course, I think Elton’s a bag of ****, and I couldn’t write that without the filter kicking in:)

What the Lewis fanboys don't understand: the 2009 McLaren was a bad car at the beginning of the season but not at the end. After finishing on the last places all of the sudden the McLaren was able to get on the podium every single race it finished later that season, as far as I remember this was when they had their own version of the double diffuser. In the "bad car" Lewis never won that season, only later but then the car was not bad anymore...

Why would I have started it? I already saw every bit of michaels career by watching it unfold, much of it live at the tracks themselves, and what I saw was the creation of the GREATEST DRIVER THAT EVER LIVED - Michael Schumacher, and much of it done racing for the greatest racing team ever formed, Ferrari

Yes of course, however I'd like to think most of us have the common sense not to spoil profanity by using it too much, and that's besides the fact the filter is there for a reason ....but obviously it makes no difference to yourself, ever since you began posting on here it has been the same old theme, so I figure the more the profanity the more frustration...

What should relieve your angst, is that I do not foresee Lewis driving for Ferrari, but you never know one can only hope eh :)
