Hey Guys... anyone ever had a Kreissieg exhaust on your TR? What are your thoughts on this brand?
I want to achieve the most F1 sound possible. Not the loudest necessarily, just the high pitch "howl". Also.. really, really don't want to get the low rpm hot rod/muscle car lopy sound.

From what I gather...Kreissieg is the one, no?

Also...how much will it change how the car starts/runs/idles? I live at 6200 ft and want to be ready for any changes.
I wont be installing it...I assume the shop will be ready to make any needed adjustments, yeah?

    Thanks guys![emoji120]

Not sure if many or any have this exhaust actually installed. I hope you do go through with it though! would be cool to hear about it first hand. I think it's around $10k.

I finally achieved it with Capristo Stage two with no convertors except the primary. Much cheaper and is beautifully crafted. Vendor on the board
    with great prices.

F1 sound? I wouldn’t want any car I own to sound like a current F1 car.
I know, I know........ you mean the good old days of F1.

Did you have to change/adjust anything once the exhaust was installed? Started and idled the same?
    Thank you

I have the Capristo Sound 3, the sound is very old time F1. My car is UK so never came with cats, the sound is a high pitched howl, it's mind boggling! It is very loud, go the valved version for sure, I will likely replace mine with the valved though it has calmed down after a few Ks. I have tried to record it but it sounds nothing like it does in real life.

I agree about the sound in real life, it simply cannot be captured on video. I also have the stage 3 Capristo with racing pipes, so you can image the howl, truly incredible. I never liked how quiet the Testarossa was from the factory. Plus removing that large muffler makes the car breath so much better. A bonus is the stunning jewelry like exhaust you can see from the rear, absolutely breath taking. Best money spent I ever spent on my TR's.

I've been considering getting Capristo put on my incoming TR. What should I know about them? Any articular "version" of Capristo? According to their website the price is $4600. What is estimated cost of install and how many hours of labor? Thanks!

Kreissieg is way difficult To source plus import duties. Is it better? Yeah, but twice the price than a capristo stage 3- No.

Dang it! ...so it is better?:) Vivid can get them for a bit over $8K with expensive shipping.... but yeah, 2X the price is asking a lot of the results.

Get the level 3, price is the same, and if you want more sound, which I can't imagine, go with the racing pipes, otherwise keep the stock cats, or put Hyperflow cats. I paid $300 for the install, roughly a couple of hours work. I also bought the exhaust from a dealer on Ebay for $4324 shipped, not including pipes.

Installing an exhaust on the Testarossa is more than a couple of hours...say 3-4 if you want all the pipes perfectly lined up. You have to tighten here...loosen here etc.

I removed and replaced my original when I did the clutch.

You also have to remove the lower valence which means putting car up on jackstands.

    Freeze....Miami Vice!
