No! Boys don't get a first round pick, so I get cranky. [emoji3] I still don't get the Cards giving up on Rosen after one year playing behind a bad line on an awful team. Murray is a local kid and I hope he does well. But at the rate, they keep changing up things in AZ, I am thinking they're the new Cleveland Browns. T
Another oddity. If they knew they were drafting Murray, you'd think that they would have a plan in place to move Rosen. T
They very well might, but there was no reason for them to rush. I wouldn't be surprised if they make a move before round 2. I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up in Miami.
last year giants said they didn't need a qb when they passed on darnold. so now a year later, they decide they were wrong about that a take a qb. except the qb they took is no where near the prospect of darnold. jones was the 5th rated qb in the draft. could've had him at 17th and gotten the pass rusher at 6th. idiots.
Everything is serene in Philly. All the fans love the team and the organization. The Eagles could have just skipped the draft this year, they are THAT loaded. Expectations are for a 19-0 season.
NFL.com guys liked the pick, as I stated upthread, but I guess the NY fans and radio talkshow guys will have a different take on it. I do agree that it made no sense to pass on a QB last year in a QB-rich draft. Ideally, the person would have 2 years to be groomed behind Eli. As it is now, 1 year of grooming + no OBJ = coach is going to get fired, and the dude they drafted will be starting for a new coach and likely a new offensive scheme. Head scratcher for sure. T

I dont like the pick either. Several elite players could have been taken to shore up the defense. I think Haskins will endup being a better nfl qb.
THE GIANTS in the 95 pick made history by choosing ODU player OSHANE XIMINES the first player ever drafted by the NFL from my school which is in the conference USA and just completed its 10th year of having a football program he will do great for the Giants... and I am very involved in the football program at the school and we are all very proud.... we have other players in the NFL but none that have been drafted....good luck.
