Ferrari has finished where they started or worse in every race so far this season. Raikkonen has moved up from every starting position so far this season. Perhaps Ferrari kept the wrong driver.
Disappointed yet cautiously optimistic, both Ferrari cars will have tows in the start of the race. But not a lot of people will bet against a Mercedes 1-2 again tomorrow, such is the inconsistency of the Ferrari team (very) unfortunately. 2019 is a painful season thus far for Ferrari and will likely continue until 2020 (if lucky). Mercedes perfected the Turbo era thus far. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Definitely a VSC or SC tomorrow....or both. Hey Ferrari, if you're reading this, work this into your tire strat algorithm tonight. Please.
All bets are off for tomorrow. We have a quick race car. That's all I can/will say. Max the dark horse?
Toto Wolff to Charles Leclerc: "Chas, when you have finished with that lot, come and work for us. We will show you what's a proper team".
Most dominant team ever talking to the fastest driver on the grid, let’s keep him at Ferrari, do not want him with the evil empire.
F*****ck. Leclerc stuffed it and it seems that colder temperatures didn't help us. Well, nobody has won here from pole and at some time we'll have some luck.
One of the races where pole means someone will draft you into the lead by turn 1. Can’t even count LeClerc out as that corner is certain to claim more victims tomorrow.
draft at start to T1 won't be very long. Very short run. but rest of the lap.... Waiting for another Barcelona 2016 moment.
Mercedes every race, “ we can’t catch those Ferrari’s, there is no way to catch them” *turns knob on steering wheel* Pole position for Mercedes
I know F1 is extremely difficult and Mercedes are genuinely extremely good. At the same time I am personally offended at Ferrari form.
Why would Ferrari even think about starting the race on the middle tires, if everyone else is on softs? Charles was faster than Seb on both compounds. Leclerc had a decent shot at pole, and (since Merc seems to be slower to warm their tires, there) could have gotten a good lead in the race, off pole. Sure, switching to the harder middle tires for the end of the race (when the track is cooler) might not be optimum -- but everyone will be in that fix. If Ferrari started on harder tires than everyone else, they could count on losing positions early in the race. Was this all so Ferrari wouldn't have to tell Vettel that Leclerc was faster than him?
It's not your fault kid, those crazy Italians never should have sent you out onto a cold track with medium tires.
