I have to hand it to Chris Mortenson, you can tell he's struggling but he's doing a great job.

Tom. Janet and I were just there last week and I did put some money down at 18-1. We have sports betting just 15 minutes from our Hershey home at the Hollywood Casino, so that makes it convenient and dangerous when we are up there. M.A.T.G.A.

I read that he was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2016 and stepped away.

The way he was talking seemed like he was having trouble getting the words out. I thought he may have had a stroke.

You’re right I had googled it right after I read your first post. Throat cancer in 2016

Cool. I think you got 40-1 a couple years ago?

Mel Kuyper apparently thought that the teams, as a whole, did a good job. He rated all the teams' drafts, giving the Colts the only "A" but giving no score lower than a "C+".

Nfl.com "snap grades" also seemed generally positive.

It's interesting that there has been no news on the reason for the shooting.

Rather face Jones twice a year than Haskins twice a year. Unfortunately, now I'll see Haskins too LOL. I watched Haskins in the Rose Bowl, he has a good arm and is accurate.

For real. I haven't heard much on this besides the initial report but I am also curious about how the Giants will handle this. What are the next steps when a player gets involved in something like this?? Its a pretty serious incident only hours after the draft.

Giants just can't get away from their players getting shot - I remember good ole Plaxico Burress who shot himself in the leg on accident...

Most I've really seen written. Majority of the articles I've read seem to gloss over even mentioning the event itself.

When I see stories like this, I think of Len Bias. Get drafted. Celebrate. Things get out of hand. The cynical old me thinks that once these guys get drafted, make it big, etc. they need to cut ties with the folks back home. Family, yes, friends, no.
