True. I’ll clarify- Have you not read the thread? It appears that he is a 22 year old who at the age of 14-15 was posting her about his “child” being berated by his teacher about exotic cars. Then more recently he claimed to have two Pistas and that he bought 2-4 cars a month and never flipped- hence was able to get the 2 Pista allocations. It appears that most of this is fabricated.
Reminds me years ago of going to a car wash in Miami and a brand new 599 gtb pulled up. The car had just come out and was not that common. The driver was bragging about his connections to the factory which allowed him to acquire the car so early . A few days later I saw him valeting cars at the Delano Hotel. He had obviously taken a customer car over to the car wash.
Unfortunately he didn't feel owning just a couple great cars was enough for this community. I mean, I'm pretty sure he really does own or have regular access to a 991 GT2RS. There was a video of him tracking it and I don't think anyone would let him track and drag race their GT2RS. It's kind of weird, because when I had searched for him, there was a thread where he said his Huracan was a lemon and Lamborghini was buying it back, but it didn't matter too much because he had an SV Roadster. Funny enough, there are quite a few pictures of him with an SV, but it's not a Roadster. Super strange to have self-esteem issues at that level, so much so that having the coupe version of a supercar isn't good enough, and you have to lie about having the convertible.
Just stumbled into this thread. While I was looking for Pista market values, I’m glad to see that a shady user has finally been exposed. My biggest problem was that he was a serial supplier of inaccurate information. For example he said his $300K msrp, 11K mile Speciale (the one owned by @dustman) sold for $410K to a flipper who immediately listed it for sale in Texas. Yet at closer inspection the car clearly never sold and was just transferred to be consigned at a new dealer. His claims that his <5year old luxury watch resale business is supplying an annual 8 figure income (yes, continuous income) is just so absurd that only someone who has never done any legitimate business would even attempt to make such a statement.
For those wondering why the hate against this poster- the above post says it all. Giving out false and misleading information whether its on a Special or a Pista can cost members money. They may make decisions based on BS thinking its accurate information.
Am I the only one who respectfully think this thread should be removed from Ferrari chat. Is just ridiculous!
But we had some good old fashioned laughs along the way. I'm hoping Foxy will be back for one last attempt to put the record straight. We know you are out there.
There was an initial question that's still not answered though. My impression is just that contributing Pista owners try to push the perceived value of their car as high as possible, and I'm still curious about the real situation (not that I particularly care about it). One could argue that since I claimed from the start that I thought the Pista was overpriced, I have a bias to picture the Pista prices as low as possible - but I don't, I am aware that value (that I subjectively assess) and market price are two different things.
Yeah the level of BS coming from foxy is truly outrageous. I wonder what he's got himself up to of late? Probably out racing formula 1 cars I imagine....in between buying and selling used swatches
Lol! ...I was thinking Forest Gump. Life's a box of chocolates! 2 to 4 ferrari's this month... half a dozen lambos the next....you know how it is.
I wonder what became of the OP ? His first post talks about owning a Speciale, with an Avatar showing a Malaysian reg car ....and talking about Buying a Pista with STG 100K premium .hmm
