No.....shields and all the other items you mention are not standard. I compared the aforementioned configuration against the one the dealer demonstrated. The dealer configuration software is more extensive and comes together with more detail.

The configurator at the dealer looks like the previous configurator, with more or less all options - but the configurator on the web with the landscape pictures bas lost most options.

I will be glad to take a set of these off someone’s hands for my 458. I think they look great!

This is the stock no charge wheel. The ugly wheels are the premium wheels that cost extra.

Indeed, and these standard wheels are taken over unchanged from the 488. I wonder why the optional forged wheels from the 488 are not also proposed.

Are the two rims (basic from 488) and the hideous 5 star the only options?

Just found in configurator. Would have to order after market rims. I can't believe these two are only options.

The same from the more extensive dealer configurator as for now.
There is still some time before the configurations are locked, so some new options may appear in the men time (there are already words about a luggage set, so why not other rim options...)

Is it me, or are the first two wheel option descriptions in the pic above reversed? I thought the 20" Standard Chrome Painted Wheels is the one top left??? Hopefully it's correct in the dealer's config.

Wheel in my post 1888 is the chrome painted standard wheel (RICS) from the dealer configurator.

I must admit I’m struggling to see what the objection is with the F8 wheels. The standard 488 wheels look like a misfit and even the forged 488 wheels don’t suit the F8 IMV. The forged F8 wheels look fine to me. Not as nice as, say, the TDF wheels or the Speciale wheels but good. Is it the lack of symmetry?

Tastes are different obviously, and personal.
I do not like these new wheels, nor the Pista Spider ones.
And I did not like the F512M wheels.
It's not about symmetry, the 348 wheels were nice IMHO (although too "thick" by modern standards).
