Yes it remains a pleasant sound but far from a V12 (From my point of view).

Yes, but I doubt it's for "Big Brother", no more for "Little Brother".

I think BB is getting a 2.9 litres V6 with twin turbochargers for 620 horsepower plus the rest or the power added by hybrid assist.
They are going V6 to keep building V8 motors for the other models without interruption!

I was at the factory yesterday.

The car drove past me in full black camo BUT I can tell you this :

It’s bigger than a 488/Pista both in width and length and has real road presence.

Although when It drove past me it was doing under 25kph is sounded load and deep.At low speed better than a Pista.

This is what I saw yesterday....

The Big Brother is aV8. The little brother is a V6. This has been the consistent info from dealer.

BTW anyone notice you can see 4 taillights and basically part of the rear of the car on the invitation graphic. ..??

These are indeed a possibility, we will see that very soon but personally I prefer the feel of a V8.

How do you think this Ferrari will weigh with all this hybridization?

    Possibly 3400 pounds.

Perhaps the English journalists have it wrong then saying a V6 is next.
Mr Leiters, stated to a different journalist "this platform will be reserved for a hybrid V8 that will sit above the F8", so all is well.:D

Except maybe only four tail lights and not six for the flagship model...

1500 Kg for 1000 Hp it gives me a good basis, but I'm afraid it will be heavier.

I also think that this Ferrari will really have a technological spirit.

Anyway, I'm very interested in her.

1000 hp but 1800 kgs with fluids ( real life ),
Guess the torque vectoring will give this car amazing performance but the question mark is :
How the driver will interact with this car ?

With a steering wheel, paddles and two pedals.

PS: According to Quattroruote, in testing conditions, the 812's weight is about 1850KG, but it's certainly not a pig.....

    Very funny ,
I'm just hoping Ferrari won't produce a drag race queen to satisfy the new youtuber generation,
    I' m confident they won't ..

I'm confident too because Ferrari has never been interested in dragsters. If, as Galliera as stated, this car has a higher performance level compared to the LaF, then I expect it to be quite capable around corners too. Can't wait for the reveal and the first hands-on reviews.

I really like the 488 sound for its 'rolling thunder' buzz at low RPMs, so an even deeper hum is great news (for me, at least).

A deep sound at low rpms is what you often get with turbo engines. To me the more important question is if the car is able to generate a nice high pitched sound at high revs.

    New e-turbo might be handy:

"Ferrari's system can actually, in certain situations, use electricity to spin the turbine to generate some additional exhaust pressure to increase the sound quality — at the expense of some proportion of theoretical mechanical power. It can be spun faster for higher-pitched sounds, or slowed down with the electric motor to produce lower ones. It's all governed by a computer that seeks to balance power output with an overall sound quality profile. This system can eliminate or supplement exhaust systems with active valves."
