Very rare build spec without any stripe livery. It must be 95% of the Pista models pictured here with a stripe livery...
I would not order a Pista without the stripe. Its 15k for the dumb thing here in the States but it was a must have option for my build. If you dont get the stripe, it just looks like an f8.
I wouldn't call it a dumb thing - I would call it a necessary thing. You could say it looks dumb without it though.....no argument from me on that! The F8 actually looks more balanced w/o the stripe whereas the Pista looks like it's wearing no pants.....as in is clearly missing something that is supposed to be there. Also never quite understood why some murder out the the wheel wells with black wheels and black calipers. I'm not sure why the need to hide the efforts which have gone into the engineering of the brakes and the likes? Very odd. The net result is the car looks as if it's riding on a magic carpet w/o wheels!
A few things - but it's the little things that make a big difference IMO! Will share soon, but suffice to say the interior is generally in nero alcantara with red striping and yellow tach.
If there is a moderator looking at this Shadow needs to "GO TO JAIL" again ! keeping secrets from fellow members LOL
I've been in that many times now I've lost count, so another won't matter. So long as they keep letting me out so I can keep the spotlight on the BS'ers!
I have generally felt the same however I've noticed a trend away from coloured calipers and have done so myself on the Pista. I think it works so long as the wheels have sufficient gloss to reflect the light and accentuate their shape. The carbon wheels do this nicely which is why I went with black calipers. As well, the hub cap is yellow which further helps avoid the "magic carpet ride" effect. This photo I found online helped my decision. Image Unavailable, Please Login
