I like your thinking with F10 but the clue was 'an actual car' so I still hold out hope for LeMans (250 L/M) that was a fast 1960's track car but it could be street driven to. This would play to the Track & Road theme promoted for BB.
F40 is more in the Icona territory with a chance to do a serious special edition vs a 'regular production' model name.

Wasn’t there talk of BB being at the Monaco GP for private viewing? Did that happen or just a rumor? Looking forward to the unveiling.. not too long now.

F40 Icona could be based on the BB but in three or four years from now ,
    Before this , the testarossa icona V12 is a more logical agenda ( F167 ?) .

I remember someone saying that the actual public debut (excluding online reveal) will happen at Le Mans.

if actual means current in that context then how about a "superfast one"? :)

That's another good way to read it. What if it's a reference to the SF90? Before the F8 Tributo was unveiled, I was thinking about "Ferrari Novanta" (italian for Ninety), but I wouldn't really bet on it..

Novanta relates to the 90th anniversario of the Scuderia Ferrari so in that case there should definitely be a link to the Racing department within the name. Something like F90 Scuderia maybe?

I don't believe the 1000kg target of this project. Project "mille cavalli" (1000cv) - yes. Not sure about the car name though.

the mail is from a ferrari dealer, but it states that the spscs are unoffecial, so they should be taken with a gram of salt... but still the weight-thing sounds very specific

So 1000 Hp and About 1000 Kg for less than 600,000€ and its a Ferrari.

I don't mean to disrespect you, but it seems impossible to me.

Project Mille Chilli was to produce a 1,000kg car which became LaF. But with addition of KERS/battery weight went up about 250kg from there. Would be very very surprised to see BB at 1,000kg - near impossible if it’s hybrid.

I was gonna say- 1000 kg is 2200 pounds. How do you do that with batteries and electrification?
