    Anyone else ever see a black watery stuff dripping out of the exhaust on startup ? looks like soot mixed with water to me but not sure .

    My 360 does this routinely as well. I try to wipe up below the tips after each drive and have PPF on the rear. Under. Wipes right off.

    I put a black door mat on the garage floor longitudinally under the exhaust tips. Now a clean garage floor and unnoticeable.

    2018 488. Normal. I set up a large cardboard “blast shield” for cold starts in the garage. Captures most of the nasty stuff.

    These 458 have an air injection through a pump on the headers to clean the air for pollution measures proposes that creates mentioned soot specially when engine cold.

    You can remove this system and will be healthy for your engine but you will have a problem at tests.

    Hum? If the air pump is used to facilitate oxidation of hydrocarbons in catalytic converter, that's 70's technology.
