June 28 weekend is Speedventures at Laguna Seca. Do people want to prep cars at Stoogefest to do a trackday/weekend at Laguna Seca? It is the best track in California in my opinion with great food and good hotels in the area. We could even do a 1st timers on track lecture specifically for Launga Seca too. Lets get the Challenge cars out!!

 

They have a noise limit? If yes I need to start now to correct the quiet car to more quiet

OK Im on it, was on my list and just bumped it up a few spaces Super Trapps BABY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

If you can get a stock muffler you will be fine. We can kludge a muffler hanging off the challenge pipes but it will look dorky. 92DB is the lowest requirement Laguna has so plan for that. 92DB is any legal as delivered from factory for 99.5% of cars.

There is also so much room in there you could probably buy a magnaflow opposing 2 in and 2 out and be could cobble it together. I got welders and cutting tools.

 

On the car prep side we can start by going over the tech sheet. It is really simple and fast but may hold new info for newbies. We can take a hard look at brake systems do some brake bleeds in preparation and maybe make a "punchlist" for individuals to take home to make sure they do before they show up at Laguna like:

take junk out of the car
bring tire pressure gauge
bring lug wrench
tape nose

That kind of thing.

 

I do have a story one in my shed but it weights like 200 pounds

I can do 6/15 or 6/22, with slight preference for 15

Yuuup its 92 db for that weekened. I will use a stock exhaust from a 355, should bolt right up. Just need to make me a bracket that floats a wee bit skew and aww LOL

 

I would be happy to trade my stock two can for something more interesting. We could swap them that day

The 22nd works for me but I'll be gone the 15th

As usual, sound off on what you want to do, other than BS, drink and eat. I suggest we also hold a prep for the track day, if anyone is going up to Laguna Seca. I nominate FBB to be our mentor on this subject. Plugzit is nominated for general maintenance advice. Contact me for food and drink issue.

Bring what you like. List below what work you wish to accomplish and if you are bringing anything.

FBB, see above. June 15th is the day. If the fryer is out, I'll bring a turkey. And Limoncello.

 

As it stand right now I can make June 15th.

 

If my broken knee cap is up to clutch PT by then, I’m in.

Ps. Last time I had just gotten a new knee. This could be a bad trend for me. I might need to go Paddles.

June 15th works for me. I can bring some sides as well as beer. I could stand to do an oil change again if there is time/room.

Yuuup but must stay busy. I pick choose very interesting projects. Just finished up on a super advanced mechanical diagnostic / warning system. No more idiot lights. The future is here
