Out.
I was going to take a quick ride over now. Probably won’t stay too long but wanted to get out for a ride.
Beautiful day to get the cars out. Too bad rain is on the way tomorrow. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry for no verdict from me earlier. Thought I might swing by but didn’t make it. Phil, Dean, and I will be there tomorrow.
Anyone from the Gathering going to the grand opening show at The Paddock Classic Cars tomorrow? I'm planning to make the ride down.

Special Request for Specialty Cars I was recently contacted by a friend who volunteers at a very special weeklong camping event for folks with muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular diseases. The camp is hoping to provide a static display of specialty cars for a few hours for the campers to view. I've been working with the event organizer to firm up the details - date, time, etc. Currently is looks like if I can get 4 or 5 cars then they would be displayed on Wednesday, July 17th in the late afternoon or early evening as part of that day's activities. If I can get 10-15 cars then they would be displayed on Tuesday, July 16th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm as part of the camp's "Drive-In Movie" night. The camp is located approximately 19 miles southeast of the Glastonbury Gathering location - Google says 22 minute drive. Who? All marques that attend G'bury Gatherings - Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, Lotus, Aston, BMW, McLaren, etc. Any machine that is ogle-worthy !!! What? Static display of special interest vehicles When? TBD. Depends on number of cars that are committed - either July 16th 6:30-8:30pm OR July 17th late afternoon/early evening Where? Camp Promise East. Amston, CT. Why? Because we can. Following is the camp's published Mission Statement "The mission of Camp Promise is to provide a barrier-free, weeklong overnight camp for kids, teens, and adults with muscular dystrophy or select neuromuscular diseases—regardless of age, capability, or ability to pay. Our camper-focused programming builds independence, confidence, and life skills through traditional camp activities and by bringing campers new experiences through adaptation, technology, creativity, and special guests. We are a welcoming community where campers learn from and support each other, fostering new and lasting friendships that extend beyond camp. We are committed to providing Camp Promise in a professional, safe, and respectful environment with a leadership team, trained volunteers, and licensed medical staff who support the needs of each and every camper." Here is a link to their website: https://www.camppromise.org/east If you should have interest in participating in this event then please reply to this post, or message me here on FerrariChat, or email [email protected] Thank you in advance for any assistance that you may be able to provide !!! - Ed -
