Any thoughts on price difference between the 2? eg If you had a 308 QV US spec - solid driver , low miles, good condition and it was worth say $55k - what would the identical true Euro spec be worth? Just generically - forgetting personal preferences and California! Just the market.

Ok - American market and if you need super specific then East coast as I’m in NJ.

In France I’m guessing not much call for US spec!

I personally value a Euro at $5-8K more.

I would agree 5-10k more. Its not enough of a difference in value for a Euro if a good US car comes up.

If the car condition was exactly the same then yes... $5k more for euro spec in my book.

At the very least...there is the possibility of arbitrage back to Europe which I always think is a stronger 308 market. So that is worth something.

Especially since the brake lights and turn signal lights are reversed!

Well, as for Europe being a stronger 308 market...it depends in which country, David. In France, nothing sells these days; due to taxes, strong enforcement of speed controls, lower acceptability of sports cars, etc...there is actually no market at all.

That GTS looks like it was sanded with 2000 grit paper before the photo.
