But he didn't win anything, or been in any wars in the front, etc UNTIL he was promoted. He only won Spain that first yr because the Mercs decided to take each other out. I think Gasly started slow this yr but is coming along well lately.
A win is a win, they taught me !!! Max won in Spain because he was the best in the field on that day; just too bad if the 2 leading drivers chose to eliminate each other !
I think they are better then what the times show. Vettel did his 1:11 very early and track kept getting faster, Lecerc got held up a bunch of times. Looking at their race simulation towards the end, times were the same as Mercedes.
