Of course, you feel violated to some degree. I dread the day someone breaks into my place while we are all sleeping, just worried about the kids that's all. They can take whatever they want, that's what insurance is for. Hope you get things sorted as soon as possible brother.
The worst thing was I heard someone downstairs and thought it was my daughter getting a drink untill I heard the cars. I'm glad there was no confrontation especially if my daughter or wife went down to have a look

It was very unsettling after we realised what had just happened. Usually when my daughter gets up in the night to go downstairs I always get up and check. For some reason I didn't last night. I got up took a couple of steps and went back when I heard my daughter in her room and it was quiet again downstairs
Wow...I so pleased the Fcar wasn’t there, and I recon they may not have taken it, as it’s more than likely the cars are in containers ready be shipped. Are you planning trackers on the replacement cars?
I'm not sure what I'm going to do for replacement yet. The Golf R was my wife's daily and the alfa was my new daily. The 718 was my wife's weekend car. Other than looking total stock the Golf R was highly modified and extremely quick. The others were all standard The police believed that they would of had a sealed car track a few kms away in a dark side street which the cars would of been loaded into. There is plenty of side streets to hide these trucks in our area
Jesus, Steve, that's bloody horrible! You must feel violated. If you don't have CCTV, maybe the neighbours caught the crunts on film.
We have CCTV but you cant identify them as they were well covered up. It is a very uneasy feeling. I think tonight will be a hard night to sleep.
They'll make a mistake - they always do. The cops will get them eventually. ITMT change the locks and add a deadbolt and a sensor light
I watch people spending vast amounts of time and money building replica GT40's and think, what is the fuchsing point? Building a car around the correct steel monocoque with the myriad of correct castings and fittings is a $500K exercise these days. A set of Weslake heads alone runs to US$100K. Meanwhile, there are so may real cars that are fun to drive and you don't have to spend the rest of your life answering the question "is it a replica?"
https://thewest.com.au/news/wa/north-perth-ferrari-crash-the-scariest-thing-ive-ever-seen-ng-b881211001z Looks like a thief stole a 360CS and killed their passenger trying to get away from the police.
Most likely the cars are in a warehouse/scrapyard in Sydney waiting to be re birthed. Quite a few syndicates have been busted in Western Sydney over the years and a Ferrari 360 stolen in 2014 was recently recovered from a syndicate operating in Alexandria. Easy to disable trackers that use GPS. Buy them from ebay for $7 (they are illegal don't buy). https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/12V-Car-GPS-Blocker-Cigarette-Lighter-Interface-Signal-Jammer-Shield-Tracking/283464733944?hash=item41ffd094f8:g:Tt8AAOSwJEpcw~XG&frcectupt=true Sorry to hear, 3 cars at one time is crazy. You mentioned the cops think they were pros. Pros would case a house for a few days before hitting it? Maybe look at the past few days of CCTV footage to see if any dodgy people hanging about?

Sorry to hear about your house been violated whilst you were inside. After a similar experience some years ago at our place, when we were sleeping upstairs whilst downstairs was robbed, we were advised by the police that the best way of preventing it from happening again was to get a dog. However, our thief was thought to be an opportunistic druggie. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Didn't you say you weren't coming back to fchat? Honourable people stick to their word. Oh.... No wonder you're back.
Geez 100K for a set of Weslake heads....I think Dad kept the spare set off his Lola T70....I'll have to keep an eye out when I move all his stuff....
