I'm glad you posted this. Yesterday I was on a hike and thinking to myself that I have no interest in Monaco, or the Indy 500. I thought it was just because I was getting old an cynical and not because the racing is crap now. Maybe I'm not so old and cynical.

    Binotto's agenda for tomorrow:

Dress up in Ferrari team gear
Get admired on way to hotel restaurant for breakfast
    Coffee (espresso) + fancy breakfast
    Arrive at circuit
    Check out team hospitality area
    More coffee (espresso)
Get admired walking around in team gear
Watch the Formula 1 race from best seats in the place
If rain, put on cool Ferrari rain gear
Enjoy the hilarity as team gambles on slicks during downpour in anticipation of rain stoppage
Leave circuit while team collect all the pieces that were cars and pack them for shipment home.

Me, I'll be washing my car. :)

Sorry for the team, for Leclerc and esp. for Vettel. Did you see how he fought with this dog today? Do you really think Leclerc would have done better today? He lost his car for a very personal mistake in Aserbaichan. No problem with that, but this is a matter of fact...

    Also forgot:

Before race, consult with Jock Clear that the strategy is the stupidest, non-sensical and contrarian one imaginable for Vettel and nothing in particular for Leclerc.
    Go have another espresso.

LeClerc would out perform Vettel at every single race if he was given the same treatment that Vettel receives.

And yet, there are people saying F1 wouldn't survive without Ferrari !
How long do others teams and Liberty have to subsidise this pantomime?
Monaco is the best showcase, and Ferrari once more gets its knickers in a twist in the full glare of publicity.

I would suggest that Leclerc is possibly the best "asset' that Ferrari has at the moment, and yet it is wasted time after time.

It is 5:1 in the Qualifying, for what reason ever...
But just to say, LeClerc is one of the best and a future F1 champion for sure.

You’re both way off. The amount of time energy and resources Ferrari have contributed to F1 since its inception absolutely entitle Ferrari to special payment and treatment. In addition to this some of Ferrari’s successes and failures are stranger than fiction and couldn’t be made up. They give the sport character stories and content. There’s hardly an article that could be written about F1 that cannot mention Ferrari. It sells. Period. F1 with out Ferrari is Indy car and who gives the slightest **** about Indy car.

I would be cautious about making wild statements like this.
I am long in the tooth enough to have seen promising Young drivers joining Ferrari who were never to flourish after the initial spark.
Leclerc looks good so far; I hope the Scuderia politics don't destroy him.

Well, at least you show which side you are on.
I am of the completely opposite opinion.
I like a level playing field.

Still a rookie yet to claim a podium win let alone compete for a title.

    Does LEC look promising? Absolutely.

    Is a WDC guaranteed? No.

If the playing field isn’t level it sure as hell doesn’t favor Ferrari.
