I ordered mine withOUT dynamic steering. But I don’t have anything to compare it to. Steering still felt a bit digital to me. I’m sure the technology is getting better on the Evo.

Agreed but will be a true lightweight NA, RWS car with insane performance - and limited :) - Whats not to like

I have LDS on my 2019 Perf and the steering is more direct, tighter with a near ideal balance between light and heavy. It is actually superior to the 2018 I had which offered less feedback and was a tad light.

MY McLaren dealer told me recently that there won't be a LT model for the 720s because of the Senna.

Said to be a 2 year production because of new EU emission and safety regulations from 2022 on.

What many are not taking into consideration is Ferraris new price policy. The F8 comes with a nice base pricing and a load of quite expensive options.
Base price is 10k over the 488 while a fully specced F8 is about 100k(!) over a fully specced 488.
The huge price differences on that model due to the excessive standard options available might also have a recognizable impact on the secondary market.

Have already spent some time with the Evo. It’s a very good car indeed. The sound is Performante like even with the particle filters. But still it‘s a quite small car compared to the 488 / F8.

Find a new dealer. Senna is a $1.5M+ car has nothing to do with 7xxLT and yes there will be one.

It's time for some new models imo. It's hard to keep selling old models, different variants with a bigger price tag when Ferrari and Mclaren are coming out with new models every 6 months.

And I previewed the EVO here in Vancouver a few weeks ago alongside the Lambo CEO of NA and I was told a decently optioned EVO will come in around $400k which is absolutely ridiculous for a standard Huracan. The whole NA engine thing will work for so long because eventually buyers will warm up to hybrids which will be much faster, more technically advanced and possibly better driving cars. Unfortunately for Lamborghini their fate is tangled up with the internal politics at VAG.

McLaren came out with the 600LT which is a much more expensive, track oriented variation of the 570S. Highly optioned models almost equal the price of a 720S. Sales have not met expectations.

Ferrari came out with the Pista , track focused update of the 488 and now the F8 which is the update of the 488. The former is available to a select group and is significantly more expensive. The F8, well optioned , is also more expensive than the car it is replacing.

Lamborghini introduced the Performante, the 6 figure more costly, track variant of the 610-4 and now the EVO which is a significant update to the 610 at a price slightly higher than the Performante. This seems slightly askew as common sense would have indicated a lower price for the EVO compared to the Performante.

It is fairly clear that the 3 major super car manufacturers seem to be in lock step.

This works in a good economy. When things slow down it all changes. I will say that having the newer cars higher in price should help depreciation on the older models. Many won't see the value in trading a 488 for $220K and spending $350K for an F8. Same goes trading form the Perf to the Evo. I think this will drive up values or at least help hold them steady as fewer will be inclined to trade up.

Very interesting the difference of a one year change. Seems to be the default choice for Heather on orders to. Thank you for sharing your observations!

That STS EVO will be a beast.

Interesting that LDS is almost universally disliked on the 610 and 580 because of the artificial steering feel which I can attest to. Guess they figured it out for the HP.

When I bought the 580, I ordered without LDS since the LDS felt artificial and far too light.Different story with the Perf as the LDS was recalibrated for it.
