This move would be for the best. Ferrari needs a new number one. Vettel was considerably formidable 5-6 years ago. Now? I feel like he's going through the emotions out there. I don't see the same driver anymore.

Vettel has what could be called an "early menopause".

Haha, he's aged so much since joining Ferrari too. Of course, that mustache doesn't help.

Or could Ricciardo break his contract with Renault to join the Scuderia and fullfil his dream ?

Ricciardo and Hulkenberg must be the 2 drivers most desperate for a good seat next year.

As a long shot: Would Max be tempted ?

I cannot see anyone else who would remotely interest the Scuderia.

You are crazy but I am a Hulk fan. Four DNFs so far he needs to up his game to Ricciardo in the next few races.

I feel like Hulkenberg has been so underrated throughout his career. I think he would make the perfect compliment to someone like Leclerc. He's been so unlucky not to get a podium yet.

But yeah, he does need to step up in 2019.

Amazing if true. I can't really believe it but open to discussion.

Would Max really be tempted to join? For sure the engine side is in order. But everything else....IMO there's a bigger chance of success at Red Bull. 2021 rules if anything are whats most likely will decide. Simpler engines? Mad to leave Red Bull.

I think Ricciardo is more likely to end up at Ferrari.

Thanks God we have these gossips to keep us from going insane between GPs or during Winter.
That's one of the best aspects of F1; there is always something to talk about, past or present.
And if you have nothing, you just make it up !!!!

that's my feeling, he's a bit young to be the #1, but not sure who is more experienced that is available and would be a good fit.

I hope not. I'd be surprised if Ferrari has any serious interest in him.

I like Ricciardo, he’s a stand up guy and passionate. Wouldn’t be upset if the the Scuderia picks him up but I agree with the fact that I don’t think Ferrari has any interest in him.

I think there might be some weight to the rumors about Hamilton going to Ferrari if Vettel indeed retires.

Hamilton might want to finish off his career with the prancing horse. Who wouldn’t?

And SoyMotor is what and from where exactly?

To report that Vettel is retiring from F1 at age 31 seems a bit of a stretch. In a contract year,
yes, but that is not a sign he is set to retire at such an early age.

Personally, I'm not buying this for one second, unless or until a reliable German media
outlet reports it, then maybe it's got legs.

I do remember him saying he doesn't intend to race in F1 for as long as many have.

But I'd say a Ferrari WDC is what he really craves so I'm surprised if he gives up this year.

That said, his heart doesn't sound in it any longer.

It'd be a disaster. Leclerc isn't ready, and there's no other driver nearly as good that's available. Drivers aren't the problem here, boys.
