Given today's announcement on the SF90, what would you pick?

I just reviewed the performance and car specifications of all 4 and was wondering what all thought. Thanks.

The question doesn't mean anything. If you get the Pista, the SF90, and the 812SF. 458 is so within reach, even if it's a speciale.

I am interested to see how many people will mention that they will definitely include the 458 as it the last mid engine pure natural air breather. Like the 812.

Bit of an odd line up to choose from - can't imagine passing up any of the other 3 for a 458.

No one in the right mind would pick an older model until all the numbers and status of these generations of cars becomes irrelevant

You are putting way too much credence into the 458. The other cars are newer, faster better. Zero chance I take the 458.

SF90 and 812 - the best technology and best performance (SF90) and the magic and purity of the V12 (I never understood the appeal of a N/A V8 - but a V12, now that's different and magnificent).

I'm not greedy. I'll take the 458, sell the others and donate the money. :D

This is such a huge spectrum of choices, different car platforms at different prices at different years??

    2009 458 ME NA V8 regular production 150-200k, discontinued
2018 Pista ME TT V8 Special Series 450-500k, production ending?
2018 812 NA front engine V12 regular production 350-450k, production ending?
    2020 SF90 ME TT V8 Hybrid 500k+, production starting?

    lol

Thanks everyone for voting and replying. And I appreciate those who suggested their own choices. Because like most of us, my assumption is that people will pick what is most enjoyable to drive. So I appreciated the other entries mentioning Scud, Speciale, etc.

Part of this poll is personal. Having driven my 458 for years, it has been great to drive. I love driving the 812. But it is noticeably heavier, which we all know. The SF90 is now in the same weight class as the 812, which is different than the previous mid-engines. I also have loved the N/A aspect of both. Then I see the Pista as an architectural descendant of the 458 but different powertrain and the SF90 takes it further. The Pista, though, is lighter than the 458. Mine is showing up soon on a transporter. So I am very excited to see the difference in enjoyment (not specific performance #s) compared to the 458.

So I found myself thinking whether the SF90 will appeal more to Pista / F8 wanting to move up or the 812 side of the market wanting to move up. And I don't have a good guess. And that was the root of my question. The 458 was thrown in there as a lightweight and N/A and relatively modern F car with high revs. Perhaps that is why it seemed a bit bizarre in terms of what the poll had in it. (Also, this is a design/performance side of the market who will spend the money in any of these price points).

Thanks for your input and helping me out.

I have both 458 Italia and 488 GTB, love the spec on my 488 but the 458 is more fun to drive. 812 On order, will not consider the SF90. Love the visual appearance on the Pista, but the engine falls short imo.

I love driving the 812 and wow it is just a ballistic machine. Feels like an eon away from my first F car from 1999 which was a 360 manual. The stick was a lot of fun.

Reminds me of when pre married life when I was dating: the specs are specs :) but you only know the “fun” for you personally when you are behind the steering wheel, so to speak. And then it is easier to decide.

    Kind of a dumb poll.

Would you take a LaFerrari, Enzo, F40, F50 or 458? Duh

Problem with the 812, despite the speed and technology, is that it's not very nice looking.

As I mention above, the poll was about product migration on the part of customers

Also people tend to listen to others when they make or contribute to a discussion. What doesn’t help the poster is the use of language questioning someone’s intelligence or character. It’s an indicator that one doesn’t understand or discuss the central point and haven’t read through all of the comments.
