    So I have a Tdf Pilota coming. This is the question I’m scared to ask. Is the Pilota cooler or more desirable than a regular pista and does it look better? I’m worried that the wide white stripe is just going to look goofy in person. What are the impressions of those of you that have either taken delivery or have seen a Pilota? Does the car look and feel special?

    Haven’t seen it in person but since I don’t have one coming I’ll tell you I think it is the bomb. The specialness and coolness is palpable because we know what it is. If some guy did this to a pista- in fact there’s a lookalike in the pista thread that was eviscerated by comments. Lastly what it represents imbues it with the rarity and specialness beyond the sum of its parts.

    Will you take it for Rome or the US?

    The original from the Factory Pilota is bad ass! Saw one in person and while I understand your concern about the wide stripe- in real life it looks amazing! And anyone that knows that it’s a legit Pilota will appreciate the car.

    There was a Pista posted that someone wrapped it to look like a Pilota. That looked horrible. I mean Pista is bad ass enough - why pretend to be a Pilota.

    Btw- my Pista arrives later this year and it’s also a TDF. Congrats on the Pilota and I’m super excited about my Pist!

    When below the stripe is a Pista the result is fabulous. ^That proves that piloti spec is a perfect fit for Pista only.

    Yes it is cooler, if it looks better is in the eye of the beholder but Insiders know the story behind. The Car looks stunning in Person, I just didn't take one is because I'm going to do a TM Pista matching my GT3 RaceCar. Nothing cooler to arrive at the track with your tdf pista and racing your tdf challenge ;)
