    As I have noted before it reminds me more of an Aston Martin color choice than a Ferrari color. One Frenchman who wants to blend in with the English crowd...;)

    Photographers seem drawn to those rear fender vents on the tdF. This tailor made version showcases that feature in blue. Perhaps the defining design detail for this model!

    I special ordered ALL the grills on my TDF made silver, not sure why many have not done so. Here is a picture that shows the effect. In my view one of the best features of the car.

    That is an outstanding idea which shows especially well on the fender grills! I note to the silver and not black wheels; certainly a very unique look that you have created with that silver choice. Thank you very much for sharing that detail of your tdF build spec.

    Thank you for the compliment.. I did same on my 812 which also has the mesh grills. I chose the silver wheels as that ties up nicely on a black car. I used silver stitching on black leather, otherwise black wheels with a black car is too austere.

    So the thing is the grills on both the 812 and tdf are matt silver not Chrome. From far they they do look blackish, up close silver. it kind of works that the mesh grills become visible and somewhat of a subtle feature. My F12Berlinetta has the Chrome standard factory option grill in the last picture for comparison. All three cars are Nero daytona. (its hard to find a photo that shows the front and rear side grills in same photo.)
